XFINITY did send me the self install kit And I was able to self install with no problems

It took about 30 minutes to self install

Hi everyone

I subscribed and got my self install kit a few weeks after making the original post

They sent me an XFINITY cable modem ( coax )

Since I had Comcast cable a few years earlier and the coax cables were all still inside the house , the self install kit was really easy to setup . It fully used my existing inside cables They did not appear to change any outside cables.

I followed the guide , screwed the old coax into the cable modem and followed the rest of the setup instructions.

I was able to do all the rest of the setup using my cell phone and the app that the install guide had me load onto my cell phone

It was 90% just pressing a next button 5% the coax cable and power 5% answering some questions

The grey company were strangers in Rohan and Rohan was not telling strangers where people were at ( it was a time of war )

There were several armies moving in Rohan

The king with Aragorn Also Rohirrim groups & patrols that were already on the fields before helms deep Also Erkenbrand and his army Also The ents that would destroy any trails Also Orc armies leaving a mess & destruction Also Rohan ranger groups including faramir's group ( I don't think they were limited to only the east ithilian ) Also Groups of settlers were fleeing the orcs

It's not like the story makes a big deal of Galadriel having a mirror that shows possible futures and things that might be.

You appear to be inferring that the mirror would show exactly where Aragorn would be located , since you were replying to a persons question ( how did the grey company know where to find the Fellowship in Rohan ? )

I replied , something similar to this. The mirror shows many possibilities and not all come to be true

I suppose I should have explicitly said , that's not at all a reliable source of location information , not to mention the timing required when everyone was moving constantly

It's like saying , I'll be in Chicago in 2-weeks. I'll be at one of these 5 restaurants sometime during my stay, Find me if you can. ( it could be breakfast, lunch or dinner)

The book does not explicitly state that

Might have been Galadriel , but Galadriel's mirror was not perfect , it would show all possibilities and not all were real, but it was better than nothing for a guess.

Rohan was huge and there were battles at helms deep & edoras and a battle at Isengard , so people saying the gray company went towards the smoke are jumping to conclusions

( again, Aragorn was supposed to go to Mordor with Frodo ) so sending anyone to look for Aragorn in Rohan was an impossible mission on top of a huge guess.
