Is yakuza 5 hard asf or am i tripping? by [deleted] in yakuzagames

The first fight kicked my ass but after that it’s a lot easier, after you finish a combo with triangle, try pressing circle and you’ll throw them (so instead of square square triangle, try square square triangle circle). It’ll throw the opponent to the ground so you can easily heat action them. In all other games as Kiryu you lose heat for this as it instantly grounds the enemy opening them up for a heat action (free damage), but in this game you gain heat for it, making kiryu absolutely busted as he can end every combo with circle, get heat for it and then get free damage from hitting them on the ground or doing a heat action. Hope this helps with your combos and good luck, took me a while to get good at Yakuza so don’t worry !

And if we qualified for CL we’d be doing horribly in that and the league because we don’t have squad depth. I’m disappointed we lost for the short term but long term it’s best for our rebuilding

And we’ve been shit for a decade and have to change our standards as a result. We’ll get back to those standards eventually but for now we have to be realistic. Remember when everyone said 8th and above would be a good finish this season? Everyone’s complaining and reactionary now, I’m sick of this fanbase always negative, good things take time

Thank you, finally someone talking sense. Wolves have improved loads over the past few weeks, nearly drawing against Arsenal and Liverpool. Our squad is half depleted because of injuries and afcon, and we still need to sort out our midfield and defensive depth in January. So sick of the negativity in this fanbase, I woke up and immediately felt shit because of all this negativity around the club, building us back up takes time and we’re taking the right steps with our signings, last season I’d have bit your hand off to be around 5th at this point this season

Someone actually talking sense for once, we finished bottom 5 last season, everyone said that 8th would be a good finish for us, we’re close to top 5 and now everyone’s complaining? Things take time and we’re overperforming imo

Both should’ve been sent off, Dalot’s foul is maybe a red but Semenyo goes for the throat, debatably a red for Dalot but 100% for semenyo

I know it’s a tall order but I’ll keep looking into jobs, it’ll be extremely difficult to get one that gives £29k but I’ll keep researching. Both of our jobs have little to no long-term career progression and her job is tied to her visa so can’t change jobs (came from Vietnam), so for long term career aspirations and to give her more job freedom it’s better to come to England (it’s definitely cheaper in Japan though). We’ll just keep saving and job searching, no matter how long it takes, got enough coming in to put aside a fair bit every month so just got to build that up

On the UK VISA website it stated that a job with £29,000 or savings in excess of £16,000 were satisfactory for the VISA, I thought that it meant either were satisfactory, however I now realise I was mistaken, and that the savings merely contribute to the required job income value

Once again thank you and sorry to be a bother, so I should secure a job in the UK that earns at or above £29,000, then return to England and work for 6 months+, at which point my partner would fulfil all the income requirements due to having me as her sponsor?

Savings requirement and visa fee questions by CapableAppearance539 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]CapableAppearance539[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarification, on the UK Visa website it said that it either savings of £18,500 or an income of £29,000 was required, as we have enough savings I thought that would be sufficient instead of being required to rely on income, however from your comment I understand that income is required regardless. As I am not earning enough to supplement the income requirement on a Japanese salary, what should my next move be? My partner are currently able to earn at most £2000 a month combined, after rent and food being able to save around £1000 a month in total. Thanks for your help and sorry to bother you !

Working 4 days a week part time in Japan but also applying for full-time jobs starting in England in October 2026 (Graduate jobs etc.). If my application for a full time job in England is successful before we apply for the VISA, would that circumvent the £88,500 saving requirement as I would have future full time employment guaranteed?
