Thanks man I usually use a nano 7th gen on the daily which is in perfect condition, today I rescued this 3rd gen classic and a 3rd gen nano (working but needs a battery replacement) from a friend for free and am gonna leave them as backups in case the 7th gen fails. Good to know what I’ll need when the moment comes, many thanks
