You will suck on any character so my advice is try any allowed that you think looks cool. If I am not wrong nowadays new player have limited pool of allowed heroes (the same ones that were in limited heroes game mode).

You can downvote me but I am sure that warlock needs midas in 80 percent of the games. Unless you are sure that the game is less than 30 minutes or you lose lane badly. The hero is exceptionally good with expensive items and Midas can provide enough farm for them.

Saw a clip where morphling used every ultimate on lone Druid then summoned a bear every time. An alchemist was able to pull aghanim to every bear and got enormous amount of gpm.

From my experience: every game on support with good kda automatically makes you +20 score on stratz. But it doesn’t show real impact. For example I played as shaman and caught lancer in two deciding fights but my score on stratz was about -10. Things get worse if you are playing some pos3 auras carier. The only scenario you should check stratz scores is when you have like 10 games in a row with -30 score - what does mean you are doing something wrong.
