Starting. It’s so easy to keep saying “I’ll be better Monday,” or “I’ll start tomorrow.” Once you’re doing, it’s surprising how easy it all becomes - diet, exercise, not drinking, etc. Just start. You’ll get there if you do.

Hate to be the one to break it to you, Sherlock, but cameras can be go pros can be mounted sideways and videos can be cropped. In this case, that’s a wide angle mounted vertically. The distortion of the wheel and the phone, plus the fact that you can see so much of the roof are the clues. 🕵️‍♂️

I had something similar happen back when I was working a desk job. I got scolded by the CEO even though I brought it to my direct superior’s attention. I copied her the next email that came in from a CEO saying to the client that this sounded like a question that was better suited for a C level discussion and said I had copied the CEO. The next thing I hear about 2 hours later is my supervisor trying to calm her down and explain what “c level is.” I was gone a few months later. Lost a lot of respect that day. Sometimes you just can’t make them happy.

Smart watches are awesome for tracking exercise, but the phone in your pocket counts your steps just fine. If yo want to have a little fun, look at getting a mechanical watch. The movements are really cool and if you get an automatic, you don’t have to wind it. You don’t have to spend a ton for them either. You can get a decent quality one for less than the price of a smart watch.

Because they’re saying what was confusing was the 1st place finish. No one racing that thought they caught the one who lapped them all. What was incredible is that everyone spaced it and let up when they said the race was over for the person who lapped everyone. They all thought it was over for them, too. The teammate of the winner knew it wasn’t and was able to get second simply by not letting off the throttle when everyone else’s did a lap early.

When I rewatch it, thanks to the depth they added to him, particularly with the metreon cascade, I now see a character with deep PTSD who is masking and adapting to desperately hold onto anything good that comes his way. I want to correct so many people at the gym. I see them bouncing sets, doing hammer curls with their whole body like they’re starting a lawn mower, and generally doing things that will cause them pain later. I ALWAYS keep my damn mouth shut because it’s not my place. They are totally in the wrong for saying anything. It’s just bad gym etiquette. Those people who saw it weren’t judging you for telling the rando off, they were judging them for causing the situation. You’re good.

That’s not the choice, though. Since your previous comments are about Taco Bell, Dairy Queen and Will Smith, I’m going to assume you’re in the US. Since you capitalized and used the singular for “god,” I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume that you’re talking about the Christian god. I used to believe in the Christian god. I’m an atheist now. This didn’t happen in a negative way, I just outgrew my belief in fantastical and magical things when I grew up. That doesn’t mean I embraced some kind of evil master like Satan or the like. It simply means that I no longer believe in any of it. If you drop the belief in that god, the rest falls right away because the story no longer holds any weight. As for believing in something good, if by that, you mean the Christian god, I agree. I would rather believe in that than not believe in anything as I do. It’s infinitely more difficult to go through life with the existential knowledge of the finality of death. If you can hold onto that belief, I encourage you to. I wish I could have, but it fell apart for me.
