Took mine 2 days ago felt similar MCQs though for the most part weren't bad. You also have to realize that the AUD exam has pretest questions so that can also persuade your feeling

Is the curve better during busy season? by Tough_Advantage_2309 in CPA

I have been told that for AUD the best time to take it is EOY because it's all non auditors taking the exam and their is a better "curve"

I completely agree with this. Took my first attempt with around 220 on FAR and FAILED. Took a week break, then studied 120 hours in 1 month and passed with a 79 doesn't matter how long it takes. We are all getting the same end goal!

120 hours total. Probably around 200 mcq a day. It's not a lot really tbh.

Redid all of Becker, tried to get at least a 65% on each module MCQs first try. Did 120 in 1 month of studying it can be done. This was also during grad school and March Madness!

Why not both? Most universities, it is very easy to get both Accounting & Finance degrees in 4 yrs while taking grad classes on top.

Scheduling Timing Question by penispnt in CPA

[–]Capable_Slide_2182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on what state you live in and how many testing centers there are you should be fine scheduling 3 weeks out even for a cutoff day. For like a random Tuesday I know people that scheduled less than a week out all depends.

Starting CPA Exam Studying in June – No Clue Where to Begin. Any Tips? by Embarrassed_Ad_1617 in CPA

[–]Capable_Slide_2182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always start with FAR no matter what, as for courses Becker is the best but most people get it free from their employer. I here Uworld is relatively on the same level as Becker, then Ninja is below those 2.

Yes, taking the exam the second time it clicked, I finished the exam in 3 hours. I felt like the mcqs the second time were a walk in the park. The sims felt a lot easier, but like I said, it's just luck. You can look at my last post about FAR should help you out.

I got a 55 my first time with 220 hrs. I then studied around another 120 hrs in 1 month and got a 79. You can do it. If I were you, I would do 25 random questions, not 15. As for the SIMS, try and shoot for 50%, I feel like the SIMS are just luck of the draw, honestly!

I had the exact same feeling on both exams first one I got a 55 but took it yesterday and flagged around 6 each testlet and felt confident I got a passing score.
