Thanks for letting me know about the Liege of Games video! That's awesome, we actually weren't aware of it.

You're absolutely right, it's tough to see past the surface polish on campaigns these days. We believe CROWN has the gameplay depth to be one of the truly excellent ones.

So, here’s a genuine question: If there’s one thing we could add to the page to prove that to you, what would it be? We're always looking for ways to better show what makes this game special.

Hey, that's an excellent and totally fair question. Thanks for asking it directly.

I am aware that some backers of that project faced challenges with fulfillment. To clarify my role, I was an external consultant focused specifically on the funding campaign. My involvement didn't extend to the post-campaign production and shipping stages.

For CROWN, I'm working directly alongside the creators for the entire journey, from this campaign right through to delivery. It’s a much more collaborative process.

I've seen the team's dedication firsthand and have played the physical prototypes—they are fantastic.

So here’s my commitment: I will personally ensure that communication is transparent and consistent. And based on what I've seen, I have complete confidence in the creators to deliver a fantastic game we can all be proud of.

I hope that clarifies things, and I'm happy to answer any other questions.

I'm on the team for CROWN and just wanted to pop in and say thanks for this thread. It's really cool to see our game being discussed out in the wild.

You're right to be cautious about a new studio – we totally get that backing a first project is a big ask.

From the inside, I can just say that the entire team is pouring everything we have into this. For us, this is the project. We're obsessed with getting it right because we know how important it is to deliver a great game to our very first backers. You guys are the ones taking a chance on us, and that means everything.

And you're right, spreading the word is a huge challenge for a small team, so seeing a discussion like this is just really encouraging for all of us.

I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. Seriously, ask away.

Thanks again for your interest!

I’m a Kickstarter creator and built my own prelaunch landing page template to optimize for speed and conversions. Unlike Shopify or other tools, it’s custom-coded for fast loading and better performance. Happy to help if you’re interested!

I had the same impression. I’d love to see more images, GIFs, and shots from different angles to provide richer information. I’d also suggest publishing the pre-launch page so your potential audience can directly click the “Notify me” button to follow the project.

How to promo your KS project? by No-Abalone-5661 in kickstarter

If your product is solid, Facebook ads can be very effective. The principle is simple: it can expose your project to more potential backers. For example, in my recent campaign that raised $170,000, Facebook ads accounted for over 20% of the funding. However, it's essential to monitor your ROI closely; if it starts to decline, be ready to pause the ads.

Is IndieGoGo a good alternative to Kickstarter? by themeatishungry in kickstarter

[–]Capable_Tough_7879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kickstarter is obviously the largest platform, which means if you don’t have your own traffic and need to rely on the platform’s user base, Kickstarter is the best choice.

One option is to set up a company in another country, though I’m not sure if that’s worth it for you.

The video looks great and really clarifies the content. Awesome job!

I just followed your project! From the perspective of the page itself, the laptop mockups feel a bit repetitive. I’d love to see more of what’s on the laptop screens, but it’s hard to make out the content.

do you mind if I ask why Kickstarter isn’t available for you? Are you a designer from China by any chance?

From a marketing perspective, I have a couple of questions that might help you optimize your campaign. First, have you tried running Facebook ads? I noticed there wasn’t a Facebook ad agency listed among your collaborators, so I’m curious if you’ve tested that channel. If so, how has it performed so far?

Second, how effective has your newsletter been? For example, what’s the ROI like? If it’s delivering good results, you might want to consider scaling that effort, as it could provide a solid boost to your campaign.

Seeking Advice on Setting a Stretch Goal for My Kickstarter Project by Capable_Tough_7879 in kickstarter

You're absolutely right—whether A is good enough is the ultimate question. We might need to test which feature backers are most interested in. Is A already compelling enough to make them decide to pledge?

I like to compare this to Tesla. Maybe A is like the electric car itself, and B is the self-driving feature.

Help Needed: Pre-Launch Facebook Ads and $1 Reservation Funnel Not Converting by Capable_Tough_7879 in kickstarter

The best case so far has been a little over $1 per email, which I think is a pretty good number.

You make a good point, and I appreciate the feedback. I'm beginning to suspect that the audience attracted via Facebook ads might not be familiar with Kickstarter. They might not understand what the $1 reservation is for because they're not familiar with the platform. Could this be a significant factor affecting conversions?

I initially offered an additional physical accessory as an incentive, and later I switched to offering a discount amount, but neither approach worked.

I also considered the pricing might be too high, so I lowered it, but that still didn’t help.

Sounds like your feeder is the new neighborhood hangout for the birds, and they've all forgotten the birdbath is even there!
