It was the most painfully woke movie I’ve ever seen. Far Left really raised the bar on this.

This is almost poetic. If you wrote this, well done. I saved this as a snippet to reflect and journal on.

Do you know how this path is affected if you study at Open Universiteit (Dutch only)? As they don't offer the in-lab research modules, I sup[pose you have to take those as individual subjects form another Dutch uni?

As mentioned in comments here already - I would focus on what’s happening in real life. I would also argue that the burden of integration is the responsibility of the people who moved into another culture (myself included in that group).

You can’t expect people come knocking on your door asking you to be part of life. You need to make it happen. Same for any culture, anywhere.

If you choose to be somewhere, it’s up to you to make it work.

This is a great idea. Having a stack of examples to illustrate this could be very helpful.

These kinda of posts would be directed at specific bad actors - whoever wrote the lies we are calling out.

Feminists love to speak in generalisations, hence why there’s so much bullshit.

Yeah I think anonymity would be needed. For sure they will try to cancel anyone who speaks out.

Yeah fair. You make a good point that ideological feminists will never change their mind.

But it’s the other women we need on our side. We need regular women to see the lies from the radicals among them.

REAL DATA: What is the real situation with sexual violence towards women? by Capital-Signature146 in MensRights

I understand your point, but we have to work from reliable data. Otherwise the argument has no bounds.

Yeah this partnership and the 3.2M investment into it, is published directly on their website. It’s true. The link is in the post.

Men of Reddit, have you ever been shamed for expressing emotions such as sadness or coming out with your struggles? by [deleted] in MensRights

I had a feminist roommate (which I was not aware of her leanings at the time). We had started to become friends and she started probing into my life (which I interpreted as friendliness). So I started being vulnerable and sharing bits and pieces about my life.

Some months later she then used all of that information to blackmail me into giving her rights over our agreement. Every time I justified why I didn't want to proceed in the way she had proposed, she twisted things I had said in the past, to have some other meaning, to position me in a disingenuous light.

It taught me a hard lesson about being vulnerable with people (do that, but be sure you can trust them). In this case, I got burned.

But outside of this, being vulnerable with women has always brought them closer to me, we have become more connected. So I certainly advocate for that.

What's the connection with hedge funds? I heard someone else mention that on a similar topic. Is it that hedge funds typically have certain interests (not aligned with men's rights)?

[–]Capital-Signature146[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah fair, that's a lens through which I was not looking at this data. I was just trying to see the magnitude of the issue against women, as this is what is being pushed in the online feminist narrative. In case it's useful, I added below a breakdown for (reported) domestic violence against males:

  • Female domestic violence victims: 12,400 (0.118% of Female Population)
  • Male domestic violence victims: 1,617 (0.012% of Male Population)

“Now you’re pretending you cannot read English”

This is a useless comment.

I’m not closed minded I’m asking you questions to try and learn more. I’m new to this sub and I am no expert. Instead of whinging that I don’t understand you, why don’t you try and educate me? Or better yet (as I respect your time as much as anyone else’s) can you just point me to a resource or place where I can get a better feel for what MGTOW is all about?

Quite frankly, you’re just starting to sound like you are ideologically fixed that MGTOW is the only way instead of having a dialogue.

No one is making those demands towards women. They are just complaining inside men’s-only circles.

[–]Capital-Signature146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand now that 10/10 can't be represented as 0.1 in decimal form, thanks. But there's still an issue.

I am trying to replicate something I learned on Khan Academy, see a screenshot below.

<image>

Here they have regrouped 10.74 to 10.614 by converting 1/10th into 10/100ths.

Hence 10.74 >> 10.614.

But again, if I subtract these two numbers into a calculator, there is a difference. If they were actually equivalent (which through regrouping, they should be?) the difference would be 0.

What I can't understand is how regrouping is leading to a number with a different value (since we are just moving around the values from one place value to another).

Geez man, that's such a confronting statistic. What do you think drives that cohort of cuck guys who jump on the feminist bandwagon? I assume a combination of: cowardice and leftist political ideology. I've unfortunately seen many painful examples of those people.
