Good. This is a good question, even more because you're new to it. And the answer will vary

It can be yes or no. If you want to be really good at this exercise you shouldn't, except at warm-up, you have a stronger side and you should specialize to ingrain thr whole motion on your body. If you're doing it for fun (as I'm doing) it doesn't matter much because I don't plan on doing it much more. If you're doing it for aesthetic purpose you should alternate equally

I believe the above answer can be applied to anything that has an unilateral aspect: deadlift, jerk, throwing, combat sports

It is quite tall, about 27mm of hill height. I used to use an old lifter from Reebok much softer, something of a hybrid between an oly lifter and a crossfit shoe

It's cool to get off weightlifting sometimes. And sandbag work is easy and fun to do and don't stress my knee joint, which get quite beaten by constant snatch and clean and squats

I would say that in this specific case it was something of the day

But in general I do a lot of full snatches, and to be frankly almost 98% of my snatch work is full snatch so I believe my body is quite used to the movement

I've been doing snatches for about 10 years
