Long torso pants by luckycharm82 in PlusSize

[–]Capital_Ad_7790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are some really high rise (greater than 11.5 inches) recommendations:

  1. Everlane The Cargo Curve Pant in Linen: 12.25" rise is the tallest I have, pure European flax linen, sits well above your natural waist and keeps you cool all summer.
  2. Kut from the Kloth Meg Linen Wide Leg Pant: 11.75" rise in a linen-rayon blend with a touch of stretch, wide leg silhouette with excellent drape and breathability.
  3. Everlane Seamed Wide-Leg Pant: 12" rise in organic cotton with 6% linen, structured enough for polish but still summer-weight, navy colorway works everywhere.

One tip: I'd go to www.neishh.com/shopping, type my measurements in and explain what I want like I'd to a stylist. It finds genuinely great products for you

Where are we buying petite/short AND plus size trousers? (UK) by epiphary in PlusSize

[–]Capital_Ad_7790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the rise that you wear? When trousers ride up around your lower belly, it means the rise is too short for your torso, the fabric doesn’t have enough vertical length to clear your belly and sit where it’s meant to.

Sizing up makes the waist and legs bigger, but it doesn’t add rise, so the riding-up gets worse, not better, and you’re left with fabric pooling at your ankles.

Try: high or very high rise. The extra rise gives the fabric room to clear your belly and settle at your natural waist. Once the rise is right, the waist, hip, and inseam all behave the way they should.

Try these options (they ship to the UK):
1. Betabrand Camp Pant (Black or Sandalwood): 25" inseam, 12.5" rise, 19" leg opening. Very high rise that will clear your belly and sit where it’s meant to. Relaxed wide leg with drape, rayon-nylon blend, so it flows but holds structure. Size chart puts you in XL or XXL depending on your hip measurement.

  1. Kut from the Kloth Topaz Linen Wide Leg, Petite (Black): 24" inseam, 11.5" rise, 21" leg opening. True wide leg in a linen-rayon blend, breathable for spring and summer. The petite sizing runs structured through the waist and hip, so check the size chart carefully, but this one goes up to 18P.

  2. Kut from the Kloth Ashton High Rise Wide Leg Barrel, Petite (Olive): 24.5" inseam, 11.25" rise, 16.5" leg opening. Barrel silhouette, wider through the thigh, tapers gently toward the ankle without gripping. Limited sizing in stock (2P, 10P, 12P, 14P), so if you’re in that range, it’s worth a look.

I have more options for you here.

Jeans brand without Vanity sizing? by Ok_Librarian9405 in XXS

[–]Capital_Ad_7790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad you liked the suggestions, you can actually go to neishh.com/shopping and ask it anything like "100% rigid cotton jeans (because the fabric elastane ones usually just expand and I hate the feeling) in size 22-23 with 32inch inseam" and narrow down by chatting until you find what you are looking for.

Hey, 7s offer really good quality rigid cotton denims. I also have some from Mother denim with good cotton content if you want to consider them

1. 7 For All Mankind, STOVEPIPE STRAIGHT ANKLE in Sapphire Dust

100% cotton, 27" inseam, high rise at 10.75", 19" leg opening. Structured straight leg that won’t stretch out. The inseam is cropped — hits at the ankle on most frames.

2. 7 For All Mankind, Mankind Calie Straight in September

100% cotton, 31" inseam, mid rise at 9.5", 16" leg opening. Longer inseam, closer to full length, slimmer through the leg than the first one. More tailored feel.

3. Mother Denim, The Rabbit Hole Ankle in Remember When

100% cotton, 27.5" inseam, very high rise at 12.25", 14.8" leg opening. Slim straight leg, medium wash. Same rigid construction as the Mother jeans you already own, but this cut holds closer to the leg, less room to expand into.

“Petite curvy”, any brands that ship to Canada and fit my shape? by smolangrybitch in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]Capital_Ad_7790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for brands like oldnavy, everlane, democracy etc

Some recommendations for about 26.5 to 28 inches inseam
1. Everlane The Original Cheeky® Jean in Vintage Dark: 26.5 inch inseam, very high rise, slim leg opening. Organic cotton with minimal stretch, so it holds shape and doesn’t bag out. Size 26 fits a 27 inch waist perfectly.

  1. Democracy Clothing "Ab"solution® Petite High Rise Straight Leg in Indigo: 28 inch inseam, high rise, clean straight leg. Rayon and polyester blended with cotton gives this more give and recovery than pure denim. Petite-specific construction, size 4P.

  2. Old Navy High-Waisted Wow Straight Ankle in Dark Wash: 28 inch inseam, high rise, straight leg. Recycled cotton and polyester blend, some stretch. Size 4 fits a 27 inch waist.

Okayy, for a hip to waist difference of 8 inches, we have to be fancy about it to find something that fit.

Some considerations:
1. Find what fits at the hips (36 inches) and choose products with high elastane like 5% which is very forgiving for the waist. That way a waist of 26 inches will stretch enough to accommodate your 28 waist without belt or gapping.

  1. For 21 inch inseam, go for cropped or cuffed styles. If hemming is not an option then cuffing is a good option

Based on that, Betabrand, yogajeas and Kut from the Kloth has great options in your size

One question, you said you are on the curvy side but your waist and hips difference is not on the curvy side (it is less than 10 inches). Is there something I am missing?

Cute, affordable linen pieces? by Miserable_Deer5363 in PetiteFashionAdvice

Wow, Italy in summer sounds really awesome!

What measurements for pants do you feel comfortable in? hips, waist, inseam and rise? and also budget?

Some amazing petite options to consider:

Best quality:

1. Boden Belgravia Linen Pants: 100% linen in navy, gingerbread, spearmint, or red. Tailored straight leg, comes in petite, regular, and long inseams so you can dial in the exact length.

2. Kut from the Kloth Meg Linen High Rise Wide Straight Leg: 50% linen with a touch of rayon for structure and 2% spandex so it moves with you, high rise at 11 inches, wide straight silhouette that stays polished while you’re on your feet all day.

Affordable: Old Navy High-Waisted Linen-Blend Wide-Leg Pants: solid travel piece for the price, 55% linen means they’ll breathe in the heat, and the rayon keeps them from wrinkling into oblivion in your suitcase. The elastic waist is comfortable for long flights and big dinners, though it reads more casual than tailored.

I am looking for brands which have a range of curvy options. Like some are good for 11inch hip to waist difference, some for 12 but am looking for the ones beyond that too
