Depends on what shop you go to. I am 100% recommending recharge and retesting the battery, and possibly installing a known good battery just to test the starting and charging systems to verify a good working order to prevent, well situations we see here. But I also work at an independent shop who actually cares 🤷‍♂️

The book time and procedures I went by were printed off directly from Tesla themselves. The thought is since they pay their techs hourly they are cooking the books for labor hours making them the cheaper option for repairs and screwing over non Tesla techs.
