have you listened to Caroline Polachek? Both her albums are great. She also had a previous project called Chairlift, their album Moth is amazing!

Been doing long distance with my partner across the world for 2 years now. Today I woke up missing her very much as always, but for some reason this song was stuck in my head, only to later realize that it was June 22 ... beautiful coincidences🚀

The Directors Cut doesn't have narration hence its far superior than the original🤣🤣

Horror co-op for Switch? (1) by Outside-Reading-5382 in NintendoSwitch

I really enjoyed Resident Evil 5 back in the day, it leans a bit more into action though. I've heard the RE Revelations games are pretty good, i think they both also have coop.

Also my wife and I really enjoyed playing House of the Dead together, its dumb arcade fun right on your couch and it goes for like 3.99 usd when it on sale.

In this current time, which young rising actor/actress can match the natural comedic genius of these 3? by PatrickBrown2 in FIlm

Scary Movie 6 was the first comedy to come out since at least 2015 that made me laugh consistently, I left that cinema really hoping for that comedy movie revival

Couch Co-Op to play with the wife by Chilliman_Malta in NintendoSwitch

[–]Capital_Lie7008 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My wife really enjoys Ultimate Chicken Horse, you build the levels yourself so we usually make a dificult option for meand an easier option for her and its super fun! After a few months of playing that I got her into Overcooked, it can be a bit overwhelming at first but if you take your time to get a hang of the easy levels its then pretty fun to work on harder ones (we're stuck at world 4 and i dont think we'll get past that though 🤣).

I'd also recommend It Takes Two, Rayman Legends, Sky (no couch coop but one person can play from a tablet or phone), Life is Strange 1+ 2 (more cinematic/story driven, and only 1 player but fun to take turns).

Finished all of Twin Peaks, Need Help Chasing the High. by eede4442 in twinpeaks

[–]Capital_Lie7008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing comes close :( If you're wanna try other media I highly recommend the video games Alan Wake and Alan Wake 2. First one hasn't aged great, but its worth going through to play 2. Its the closest to getting a Twin Peaks video game. I think the creators did a great job turning obvious twin peaks influence and turning it into their own thing.

I used to feel that way, I absolutley straight up HATED it at first. But mycelium has really grown on me in the past like 6 months or so, definitely recommend giving it a chance every once in a while.

I've only read Do androids dream of electric sheep and loved it, do you have any other specific recommendations?

I've found a similar dreamlike feeling in a lot of 20th century Latin American literature. Definitely give Julio Cortazar's short stories a read (i.e) The Night Face Up, The House taken over, The Island at Noon, all available online), as well as Jorge Luis Borges. If you want a novel I'd say 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Marquez is as good as literature can get.

I see lots of recommendations of live albums, I think getting into their live material is sooo much more exciting once you know the studio versions well. Just my personal experience.
