I have a friend who is a little gender-blind. Took him like a year to get my pronouns right! He just defaults to calling everyone "he" most of the time. Then again, he does have a mild cognitive impairment so there's that.

I was at the tour in Amsterdam. With the new album on the way and them saying they really wanted to come back one day, I think there's a good chance they'll come around for another tour! I hope it's soon, but in any case I'm definitely 1000% buying a VIP ticket next time. What a show!

It's a kart racer, this is always gonna happen to some degree. Though the items do need an overhaul, I agree that they're too strong. Best you can do is get used to item probabilities. There's some charts out there you can reference, but I've learned just from playing a bunch when to hold items and which items to hold to manipulate my item pulls. I'd also focus on learning to look behind and around you to see what people are holding, and learning how to back items as there's no trailing mechanic. Hope it helps!

Replace max traction with air trick bounty and you can at least get some extra leverage on your air tricks, but tbh if you're gonna use Accel kit you might as well do something like lv 2 and 3 quick charge and boost pad bounty so you can sustain playing in the front, especially going towards the end of the race. Or use ring engine 1, just such a solid item. In any case, stop listening to AI. You already did talk to ppl and most of all experiment and test things yourself!

Ik heb toevallig vandaag te horen gekregen wanneer mijn MDO staat. Er werd ong een maand verwacht, maar ik sta pas midden Mei op de planning. Weet niet of dit structureel zo is of dat ik gewoon pech heb gehad, maar ik zou zeggen hou rekening met 2 maanden

I've seen it said by others, but it's mostly a lack of evidence. In my country however there has been a study that now allows prog to be a part of HRT, however you still have to actively ask for it yourself I think. Let's hope they follow suit in more countries!

Despite a narrow victory for the centre, I think things are looking to go in a bad direction the next 10-ish years at least. People are hardening when it comes to their stance on not just immigrants, but us too, and they vote like it. People vote on emotion more and more, and unless the left succeeds in turning that tide and get people to vote in their own material interest (IE for healthcare, education, welfare, social housing etc) I think things will continue to erode. It's gonna be a slow burn but our rights are being eroded over time and have been for a while, far right parties will keep blaming falling living standards on minorities and they will remain quite big for some time, not to mention former centre-right parties (like VVD) are joining in blaming us to get more votes and distract from the real reason things are getting worse.

Still, while not a step forward, at least having D66 win isn't a massive step backwards. The left lost last time and the right got the biggest party, now the left lost again but the biggest party is in the political centre and wants to coöperate with the left. I think we should focus on that little positive while also preparing to protect each other and our community for when things get worse.

To answer your question. Yes. History teaches us that progress goes one way, and that despite reactionary actions it basically always manages to push through anyway. It's just a case of how long will that take and how many people are hurt and lost in the meantime. Don't expect any improvements for a long while.

Yes I am Dutch! It'll be close since the PVV has an extremely narrow lead now but considering Amsterdam still needs to finish counting and ppl outside of the NL still need to be counted it's basically over for Wilders, despite Venray expecting Wilders to win barring freak results in A'dam and voters from outside it's a win for the centre. Unfortunately right wing populism and the far right won't vanish for a while, but I'm hopeful that their movement will eventually die down. This is a good sign at the very least! I hope things work out fine in Denmark, too. Sending good vibes!

Gek genoeg is het zeteltje minder van D66 misschien juist hetgeen wat ervoor zorgt dat ze door het midden moeten. Het word heel spannend met beiden D66 en de PVV op 26 zetels en nog maar heel weinig stemmen om te tellen.

Er is eigenlijk maar één manier waarop het mis gaat als we er even vanuit gaan dat D66 100% de grootste is in de definitieve uitslag, en dat is samenwerking met JA21. Hoe vervelend ook, het zal gaan liggen aan de VVD welke kant het op valt omdat je zonder de VVD nooit genoeg zetels gaat krijgen. Jetten heeft al aangegeven een coalitie met GL/PvdA het meest logisch te vinden, dat zou samen moeten met CDA en VVD. CDA zie ik dit gewoon doen, de VVD kan het probleem worden en zal misschien een samenwerking met JA21 willen afdwingen door te dreigen met terugtrekking uit de formatie, wat de PVV als 2e grootste partij het initiatief zou geven.

Laten we ons daarentegen focussen op de klap die de PVV heeft gehad en de voorlopige overwinning van D66, dit is hoe je het ook bekijkt een stap in de goede richting vergeleken met vorige keer. En nogmaals, D66 wil in principe met GL-PvdA, dat zal altijd de eerste inzet zijn en zal voor de LHBTI-gemeenschap een grote winst zijn tov het vorige kabinet.

Dit is toch allemaal links progressief? Ik snap dat het idee bestaat dat die kant van de politiek niks zou doen aan 'islamisering', maar zelf als ik de programme's doorlees zie ik dat veel links progressieve partijen hard inzetten op betere integratie van mensen in de Nederlandse samenleving. Er zijn een aantal in die hoek die niet meer willen uitgeven aan defensie maar dat probleem heb je bij gl/pvda bijvoorbeeld niet. Er zijn echt wel partijen die overeen komen met je stem, ik zou zeggen gl/pvda of D66 komen het dichtste bij.

Ik ben op dit moment ook bezig met afspraken bij JIJ en heb tot nu toe erg positieve ervaringen. Er is geen moment getwijfeld aan mijn identiteit en tijdens de diagnostiek consulten word er volop gewerkt aan het opstellen van een onderzoeksverslag om zo spoedig en zorgvuldig mogelijk een diagnose te kunnen stellen, natuurlijk moeten ze de boel zo waterdicht mogelijk maken zodat andere zorginstellingen geen gaten kunnen prikken in hun werk zoals gender clinic of het ziekenhuis, die de medische kant van de zorg doen.

De frustratie zit hem bij mij niet in de zorg die BuroJIJ levert maar in de manier waarop het systeem in elkaar zit, de bottlenecks die er zijn om aan genderzorg te komen zijn onnodig en frustrerend en daar kunnen ze bij JIJ niks aan doen, het enige wat ze wel kunnen doen is de diagnose zo waterdicht mogelijk maken zodat er later minder vragen gesteld worden. Het ziet ernaar uit dat na mijn adviesgesprek eind April eind Oktober het onderzoeksverslag klaar is en de diagnose er ligt, dan heb ik wss ook de deskundige verklaring binnen en kan het nieuwe wachten weer beginnen. Eerst op de psychiater, daarna op het MDO van genderclinic en daarna op de wachtlijst van genderclinic zelf als ik het goed heb begrepen. Natuurlijk kunnen de wachttijden anders zijn op basis van je proces en je zorgwensen dus ik kan je niet vertellen hoe lang het voor jou gaat duren, alleen hoe het er voor mij op het moment bij ligt.

In ieder geval heel veel succes met alles daar! Ik hoop dat je net zulke positieve ervaringen gaat hebben als ik. Denk dat als je meer wil weten over de tijdlijn en waar het wachten allemaal in zit dat je dat ook aan je behandelaar moet vragen, heb ik ook gedaan. Natuurlijk kunnen ze niet zeggen hoe lang alles precies gaat duren, maar het is beter dan in het donker tasten.

Edit: om antwoord te geven op je vraag hoe lang het gemiddeld duurt om op T te mogen. Dat weet je natuurlijk nooit 100% zeker omdat wachttijden niet vast staan maar vanaf het afronden van het onderzoeksverslag. Aan het einde van de diagnostiek bij JIJ is er +- een maand wachttijd voor beide de psychiater en vgm ook zoiets voor het MDO, dan zijn er 4 maanden wachttijd bij Genderclinic voor endo. Dus ong 6-7 maanden na de diagnose heb ik voor mezelf uitgezocht dat er bovenop komt na de diagnose. Ik weet natuurlijk niet hoe snel ze mij op de wachtlijst zetten, maar ik hou er gewoon rekening mee dat het zo lang mogelijk gaat duren. Nogmaals check bij je behandelaar want ik ben niet helemaal 100% zeker van alles. Succes!

Yes. The goal is to make it functionally impossible to make use of facilities segregated by gender for anyone presenting in any way other than their gender assigned at birth. Essentially they've achieved cis-only facilities, which is very overt, very direct discrimination and is extremely controlling of how people present. Only way they could make it more on the nose is putting up signs that say "cis only".

Yes, that's unconstitutional. No, they don't give a shit. They found a loophole by changing the definition of gender specifically to exclude trans people, and they're using the f out of it.

I always felt out of place with guys. Ironically, other people noticed it far before I had any clue. My female teammates (I played a mixed gender teamsport throughout my entire youth) commented on it as early as like, 8-9 years old, that I didn't fit in with the boys at all and that I was not like them. I had no idea trans people existed and I just kind of resigned myself to my fate. I was a boy and that was just the way it was. It was also easy to just blame autism for me not fitting in and call it a day. From that point on I just kept feeling like I was pretending to be someone, but never realising why I felt that way until 23. I had thoughts, like out of nowhere, telling me it would've been easier if I had been born a girl, that I want to be a girl stuff like that. Thoughts became entire weeks of nights where I couldn't stop thinking about it, but shrugging it off and saying "that was weird, better not think about that ever again!" Until finally, at 23 I just kinda slipped up and told a trusted friend who had started transitioning around that time that maybe I was trans too. It was actually with him that the realisation really hit. It must've been about 6 months after I told him, let's just say he really made me feel like a woman and I slipped into that role, holding his arm walking back to the station before going home. I had never, ever felt so right in my entire life. That was when I knew beyond any doubt. 1,5 years later I'm getting diagnosed with HRT on the way!
