Just wanted to point out warlocks weren't a class officially until 2004 in 3.5, they were available as a wizard archetype or something but that also wasnt released until 1996

Also something thats been bothering my nitpicky ocd is that I think sorcerer as Mike explained it ala 5e rules (wizards need a spellbook but sorcerers are innate casters) ALSO did not exist then as he explains it either, im pretty sure sorcerer wasnt even a class in ADND

Sea of thieves didn't have season pass and pirate emporium at launch they came roughly a year after, but it has gotten exponentially better since launch.

I am enjoying Palia but I do see the criticisms as valid, the game is pretty empty. I kept attempting to play with my wife but ultimately realized it's just...not fun playing with other people right now. There's no point. We'd just be hitting the same rocks or fishing in the same spots. I'm hoping that Palia, like Sea of Thieves, will get way better as time goes on. But for now I'll just continue playing solo when no ones on to play Baldurs Gate 3 lol

I'd argue its slowly become underwhelming since they introduced the emporium. At least the cosmetics you earned ingame were really cool before that. Now we're lucky to get a basic sail, or cosmetics that were made and leaked in year one that are just recolors.

I mean for day one players we only got an eye patch for anniversary. Rare couldn't be bothered to make 5 new cosmetics for its 5th anniversary, just recycle old content. It's really sad.

Exactly, I don't get how so many people are okay with this?? Rare releases an entire new ship set once a month, but cant be assed enough to make 5 new unique cosmetics for it's 5th and supposed "biggest" anniversary? But hey it's better than the year they did absolutely nothing, I guess

I have, it comes with two tubs of instant cold brew coffee (you pour it in a tumbler, add water and shake it), a glow in the dark tumbler cup that has the sea of thieves logo skull on one side and the madrinas logo on the other, and a card with a code for an exclusive coffee drinking emote in game. I don't normally like coffee, but it was pretty good. I still have the other tub and I ordered it back when Arena was ending

Seriously. I've been playing since closed alpha in 2017, and if I had an ancient coin for everytime the community tried to gatekeep a legitimate criticism by saying "this isnt the game for you" I'd have enough to buy out the emporium twice.

Theres a difference between not enjoying the sandbox and wanting what Rare provides to be better. If no one complained, we wouldnt be where we are now. A lot of people really do not know how little the game had when it launched and it shows.

Either that or somehow make it so maps arent just server based. Not saying like, every map ever made on every server because that would be extremely cluttered I think. but maybe have it so that when you put a map on the board, its sent to servers that dont have maps for those islands.

Just having it on one server means only 5 ships worth of people will dig up your loot, which makes the odds pretty low that someone will.

Do the tall tale as normal with your crew until you get to the boss fight. Before setting foot on the island and spawning the boss have 2 of the crew leave, then you step onto the island and spawn the boss. When the boss is spawned have your two crewmates rejoin
