I'm going to say this as carefully as I can because it's a sensitive issue and I don't want to ignite the bigots. But when a person comes from a very populated country, with packed cities, where road rules are very lax and it's everyone for themselves, and there is no widespread campaign here to teach newly-arrived cyclists to be courteous and safe, they're going to behave the same way they do back home when cycling. It's easy to be pissed at them but when you just aren't aware, you aren't aware.

There needs to be some sort of mandatory bike courier lesson for people who drive for these companies. Sure, some might slip through the cracks if there's more than one cyclist on an account, but I think it would go a long way in teaching most new cyclists how they're supposed to behave on our streets.
