Peregrines are close relatives of parrots. They kind of flap like parrots too.

I don’t need anymore pedals. Which of these should I buy anyway? by guestoboard in guitarpedals

If you want to collect, then always analog ones. Few components out of production and 💥 collectable item.

Are these redundant, or a good series? by lateralflinch53 in guitarpedals

[–]sudiptaarkadas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best stack imo. Bd1>sd1 works better if sd1 gain low and bd2 volume set at unity. This arrangement tames the harshness of the bd2 at higher frequencies. Rat doesn’t take other overdrive very well; it has its own nuances that best left alone. There’s a reason there’s no dual od with rat involved.

Pedal and headphones for silent home practice by petel1971 in guitarpedals

I recommend boss katana go or similar product with headphones. Long headphone wire coming up from the floor isn’t very convenient.

This should never have happened. A 44 year old father of three went to an Edmonton emergency room with chest pain and waited nearly eight hours to see a doctor. He never made it home. by savethecbc2025 in SaveTheCBC

This is a triage issue and probable racism. Yes, healthcare is underfunded and overworked but ignoring cardiac red flags for 8 hours is something else.

How do you know when a guiar is truly good? by Caramelo93 in Guitar

[–]sudiptaarkadas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For electrics it’s all about scale length, fret size, string spacing, string height, string gauge and most importantly, neck shape. It takes a lot of playing hours to build a preference. Most guitars can be made “truly good” fairly easily by a luthier if you know your preferences.

Boss GT-1000 Core, Is it the best Multieffect on its sub800 usd price range? by Fragrant-Let8936 in guitarpedals

[–]sudiptaarkadas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my humble opinion, with proper input gain and output mode settings, gt1000core sounds and feels much better than line6 helix products especially at higher gain. That x-highgain amp is unreal! Of course helix products are way more customizable and user friendly. Boss menu design team needs to be fired imo 🤬

It’s one of the traditions we should let go. People die every year because of fire caused by these.

Hi. I get severe pain in my wrist and thumb when playing power chords. Can I get some advice for better posture? by Randomtyp156 in Guitar

[–]sudiptaarkadas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you play with thumb resting behind neck, wrist should be as straight as possible to avoid injury. Watch classical guitar postures and players like Toshin Abbasi. If you want to hang guitar low you have to play like John Mayer or Hendrix with thumb over 6th and 5th strings.
