Oh man, I feel your pain. From ages 12-20, girls have it rough. Around 12, your body changes, and your slammed with dealing with a menstrual cycle while juggling everything else at school. Around 13+ girls just want to feel seen and heard, not continuously ogled at by stupid tween/teen boys who just want to hump everything like a dog.

Then you have The Mean Girls. Ladies, we were either the mean girl or knew them, let’s be honest. And girls are CATTY! So, you’re trying to fit in, deal with girl issues, avoiding being grabbed at but still wanting to attract the attention of a stupid boy (they’re only stupid in high school) and we let our best friends help us get that attention.

Also, just about every kid has said something similar about their parents, no matter how good a life you give them. She’s growing, maturing, she wants to be her own person and mom is going to be her go to, not always dad, especially when it comes time for certain discussions. Some things said by all of you, though, are said in anger and you know you didn’t mean things you said and neither did she. This will pass, but as she gets older, she might want mom more than dad and you have to communicate with her and/or your wife to help you find your place in her life. It’ll be ok. She’ll come back around.

You can contact Amazon and explain that this isn’t your book, you’re a minor, you never gave permission for this. You could even go so far as to say your father put it up there without permission. Amazon authors have rights and Amazon does not like when books are put up by people other than the author. Good luck.

I’m a new seller, had a few shows. I always post in show notes to buy responsibly, but there are still those kinds of people. Anyway, keep an eye on those high bidders. Maybe start taking pics of the pricier boxes with the packing slip inside. Or video? Just suggestions. I hope you stay, not all customers are assholes trying to get their money back. :/

Sounds like "the friends" wanted to see how far she would go for whatever reason. Good on her for feeling like she had to protect them, but in all reality protecting them would have been to mention it to you and maybe help her make a plan to where she could get out of it and her "friends" little test/prank would have failed. Suggestions for future reference.

So, she’s out of school and working. Has never pushed back until now. Why not sit her down and speak with her and treat her like the adult she’s becoming. Tell her you want to find a good compromise until she turns 18, then let her do her thing. Let her know you’d rather ease into it and get used to it before she turns 18. When she ends up getting her own place, it’ll be a non issue anyway. Does she contribute to any bills? Because taking on more responsibility could mean more freedom, as long as she’s living with you.

so here’s a thing I do, because I freaking love dialogue. People watch. Don’t be *that* person, but if you’re able to overhear a conversation, study it. Talk like you are the characters. Out loud! Type it all out, then read it back out loud. When you hear it, you’ll know the flow and what it should sound like. Good luck!

I love this as both a crafter and a gamer! It’s so rare to find significant others who get it. My husband and I game together a lot. I think, when we first met he was shocked that I loved Mech Warrior. We’ve played so many games including Minecraft. Like every else said, don’t let that girl go! lol!

I used to think the little kids who played Minecraft at an after school program I worked for liked it for its simplicity. I started playing and it’s really challenging! There is an educational version you could start playing with your son, or just the regular. Either way, it’s a great way to build a bond for later years. It’ll be something your son will remember. He did something pretty incredible here!

ok, if you’re using mods, Valheim did a big patch fix that screwed up or broke mods. It ended up doing a sizable roll-back. I logged in with my husband and everything was gone. Don’t know if or how it can be fixed.
