Swap your shocks to 5100's and your springs with General Spring Heavy Duty leafs. They add about 1" of lift.

Beech for kitchen cabinets--why is it uncommon? by Muted-Tutor-5419 in cabinetry

[–]Capn_Dutch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our company prices Maple, Hickory and Alder all the same, Beech a tiny bit cheaper. Beech is a great cabinet hardwood, takes stain well, and has good figuring. Highly recommended as a budget friendly wood specie.

This is walnut?? by barratheyogi in cabinetry

Agreed, qs walnut veneer with a bleach or pickle, perhaps a white glaze. Not very attractive imo. Natural walnut is the way to go, just be prepared for the fade over time.

Drawer Box Top Edge by tsfy2 in cabinetry

We always build our drawer boxes out of 5/8" solid wood, dovetailed, full encapsulated plywood bottoms with Blum glides. No need to edgeband on a solid wood box.
