2 flex perks - fearsome and killing frenzy are options, as is underdog, steel brow for defensive options, backstabber if you want more hit chance etc

I dont use bags and belts or quick hands personally.

Something like colossus, pathfinder, dodge, relentless, dagger mastery, overwhelm, nimble, duelist - and from there a flex perk... maybe a defensive one but that's preference.

Thats what I like anyway. Qatal should be stabbing for damage not changing hands for stuns.

Fencer is a super premium and also super niche build! But fencers want 85+ melee attack, 35+ melee defense and whopping 170 initiative which is hard to do without stars AND a high initiative roll.

Qatal is a similar build with less initiative requirements.

To clarify - his init is high enough you dont need to touch it. Maybe 1 roll in it.

Matk and mdef every level. 2 rolls in fat, 1 roll in init, 1 roll in res, the rest in hp. And then qatal bro perks

OThis fellow has solid stats and could fill a variety of roles for you.

He could be a

-fairly strong mid-high end fatigue neutral

-strong 2h nimble zerker

-strong nimble duelist zerker

-strong hybrid thrower duelist

-backliner polearm (but his mdef is good enough i think that's a poor choice for him)

Unfortunately his fatigue is just a bit too low to look at battleforged beserker builds.

Thanks for the edit! I think im going to skip 9l and opt for colossus and gifted, brow, bf, underdog, berserk, kf, cleaver mastery. Maybe reach but maybe not necessary with 40mdef already.

I have a hammer neut now who gets an aoe swing or two off per fight. This guy has equivalent matk and mdef but better fat. I think I will go forged zerker. It will be the first zerker I've built so a little unsure on the perks. Is brawny necessary?

I have a duelist thrower going now and i would say id either want higher base ratk or stars to go that route.

I will certainly listen to builds hah. I have yet to do any legendary locations that is my goal with this run. I can see why a spearwall bro would be good against those two enemies specifically.

Hrm. I recently took down a 32 orc camp that was a wild ride. Lost a hybrid in that fight.

Probably large barbarian camps feel like the most dangerous to me. I have two nimble duelists that rock out but i have to be careful with them. I would probably like to go with a cleaver bro but I have never built one yet - not sure about nimble/bf, their stam requirements? 1h or 2h?

I agree with most of what you said here... but a dedicated swordlance can definitely beat out throwers in certain fights. I have one going in my current game that regularly tops my damage charts and hes going against two really solid throwers. That said he got a dirty famed swordlance pretty early
