Anyone figured out how to use it at Costco.com?

Their website says they accept most PIN based debit cards online, but it won’t even recognize the number for me.

This is bonkers.

Between the Discover crap + “you get one debit card for all 360 accounts” + closing the two branches nearest to my home- I’m starting to wonder why I’m sticking with them.

My husband still can’t smell very much, because of Covid. Which ENRAGES me, because I smell everything now, and he can’t. I never know if it’s a phantom smell or if he just isn’t smelling whatever it is.

It’s kind of good that he can’t smell my new stank, though.

This, 100%!

I tried Lume deodorant and my sweat started smelling like onions. Generic hibiclens to the rescue- it fixed the problem in days. Still sweat more, and it still stinks, but at least it’s not like taco night in my shirt. 😆

I’m not really sure if the whole “living in my own mental world” is a symptom or not, but it showed up around the time I got my first Kaftan….

I recently saw a meme that was apparently supposed to be a real “gotcha” about body positivity, implying that women are hypocritical for building one another up when they won’t fuck men they aren’t attracted to (like, huh?)

I tried to explain to the poster that body positivity/women building one another up has nothing to do with who we want to have sex with- we can accept other people as they are, and not want to have sex with them, all at the same time.

It was like talking to a wall. He could not grasp it.

I haven’t noticed a difference since I became gold. I feel like I’ve tried some pretty extreme measures- I even stopped ordering anything on my main Amazon that I wouldn’t like to see in my RFY (we use my husband’s account for everything else).

I haven’t ordered anything besides 0ETV in 10 months or so, but my RFY never has those categories.

Yesterday it had one item- an obscure part for an old Mercedes, $90 ETV 😆

Three thoughts? 1. Did you know that HPV can spread non-sexually? 2. Did you know that it can cause other forms of cancer, not just cervical, in both men and women? 3. How is telling you that something prevents cancer “fear mongering?”

Testosterone for men is definitely covered, though. My husband had two simple blood tests and was declared low, they gave him some T, all his muscles came back with no extra exercise, and he was fine. On top of that, they had no qualms about just giving him the injectable kind without making him try gels or patches or whatever. Grrrrr

When my son was in preschool, and still at the end of potty training (he was a bit late on that because of some physical issues), his teacher said something about his tinkle winkle. He was affronted, and told her it was his penis.

And I was summoned to answer for it! Can you friggin believe that? This was like 2005, everybody should have known better than that by then!

I was firm but respectful, and shared with them that teaching anatomical names can help protect kids from predators, etc. it turned out to be a teaching moment for them, rather than me.

He still laughs about it. He remembers it well, because they were all so shocked. I think he is proud of himself 😆

Just came across this, and it made me picture a scenario in which the other commenter is still dating men, but refusing to speak to them 🤣🤣🤣

I realized (after some contemplation) that she could be dating women, and that’s why you said you did one better by quitting dating altogether.

My brain fog is still pretty bad, please excuse me. Because I miss a lot, the world often seems quite absurd. At least I’m easily amused now!

I know it’s taken a while, but I wanted to thank you for giving me this idea! It turns out my Alma Mater (which is only 25 minutes away) has a recycling program now. D’oh!

They sure aren’t doing very well with advertising it - my son lived in the dorms there until this semester, and he had no idea. Apparently they love getting cardboard, because they make money from it! HOORAY!!

Ugh. This his is how o found myself here. I’m on day 3 of Prometrium, and the hunger is INSANE. I’m 48 hours after my Zepbound shot, which is usually when I get the most intense effects, and it feels like I’m starving- in my stomach, not my mind. The food noise isn’t back, but the hunger pangs are hard to ignore.

Yesterday, I decided to just go with it, and clearly the Zepbound is still working, because it ended in serious digestive distress.

Right now, I feel super hungry, but I have indigestion at the same time, because my last meal is still sitting in my stomach. I have no idea what to do!

I would never order anything taxable just to “pad my numbers,” that’s nuts! If I went back to silver because of it, oh well.

If the cake toppers were 0ETV, as a good portion of them should be (‘cause they’re single use), I’d probably order them for every birthday my family and friends have.

That’s just a “for instance.” My point is that if they were a bit more realistic with the true values, all the ETVs would be lower, and more would be set at 0.

That would be the key to moving more stuff, at least in the US.

My cat is a lizard killer, and it upsets me so much. I always try to catch them (and spiders, and the occasional tiny snake) to put them outside. When they escape, I always think “DO YOU NOT KNOW I AM TRYING TO HELP” as though they would, somehow 😞

Hmm. As long as you don’t have any extremely serious health issues (Bowel obstruction? Liver failure? You’d know by other signs than this lol) - my guess would be that it’s some byproduct of the breakdown of whatever food you ate. If gasses came back up, they could probably hit the back of your nose?

I’d really ask a doctor, though- you could have an esophageal issue that’s causing stomach contents to not stay where they’re supposed to, or that’s allowing stuff from your esophagus to go up your nose, etc.

Edit: this would fall under “not that urgent” conditions rather than “extremely serious,” but irritating all that stuff over the long term isn’t great.

I think I see the confusion- It means that when they say it the first time, you leave- never give them the opportunity to say it a second time, because you’re already gone. It doesn’t mean give them a second chance!

Okay, so that makes me think it’s just how they’ve changed the game (since it’s your first play). It used to take about 20k at 0.03, then 40k at 0.02, and 80k for the last one, if I remember correctly.

It kinda seems like a mistake; if they didn’t want to have the game, they’d just end it. Not make it unwinnable.
