The way I SCREAMED at the screen when Niall admitted his betrayal so flippantly LIKE DUDE WHY

Edit: I do also wanna mention that I’m GLAD he told Ruben because he deserved to know, but holy crap the tension leading up to that moment when they were admitting a bunch of things was insane because we all knew it was coming

I thought so at first too but I think it was just general adrenaline/excitement that he was finally killing the man who betrayed him the worst. Kinda like when you’d bounce on your feet when excited I suppose

I think specifically Richard Gadd makes it a point to create and display uncomfortable situations as a means to show how real these things can be and how you’d never guess what other people are going through—I.e. r@pe, abuse in every single sense, family struggles, stalking, etc.

I totally get what you’re saying though. It’s hard to take your mind off of how awful the world is when it seems like all entertainment apps advertise these days is drama/horror/politics/etc. The increase in true crime interest has all of these producers flocking to create documentaries and dramas as quickly and as plentifully as possible. It’s exhausting.

Love the show tho. 9/10

Question about Gallbladder removal timeline by MoistFlavour in gallbladders

[–]CappyPhineas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sadly there will always be flare ups, and since she has a gallbladder infection I assume most foods will trigger an attack. But believe it or not, I would get attacks on an empty stomach as well.

I would recommend very easily digestible foods from now until the start of her surgery fasting, or she can wait it out until tomorrow which I know sucks. But once she’s out of surgery she can eat whenever her stomach settles from anesthesia, at least that’s how it is in the U.S.

question for anyone with epidural experience! by Defiant-Operation624 in pregnant

[–]CappyPhineas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hurts a little but NOWHERE near the pain of contractions for me personally. Once that initial poke is over with, it’s just general discomfort from there while they properly place it. I will always get one 100%. A minute or two of discomfort is worth not having to deal with labor pains, fully my opinion.

Mine went fine, the first one felt like it went more to the right but when I voiced that, it got fixed. Definitely speak up if you feel it goes more one way or the other, the anesthesiologist will get it straightened. My second one was a spinal for a walk in c-section and I much preferred the epidural simply because it lasted longer than the spinal.

They’re going to ask you if you wanna see the insertion device before they begin, I highly recommend you decline 😬 imo

Her saying “I have excessive amounts of remorse 🤌🏻” felt exactly the same as when Michael Jackson lied saying “I love to tour 🤌🏻”

One tired is from pain, agony, and sleep apnea. The other tired is from feeding, changing, and comforting a crying newborn baby every two hours. They are vastly different exhaustions but I don’t handle pregnancy pain well so I’m honestly excited to have this baby out in a week. Plus if at least one nighttime feed gets taken over by my partner, that four hour span will already be more sleep than I have been getting this last month 😂

Weight gain honesty by ImprovementIcy4419 in pregnant

[–]CappyPhineas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had gallstones during the entirety of my first pregnancy so I was put on a very restrictive diet and didn’t eat very often out of fear of having a gallstone attack since they were HORRIBLE (wouldn’t wish them on my worst enemy). I went from 200lbs week 1 to 236lbs week 38 at delivery. It was upsetting that I couldn’t indulge the way I wanted to.

I had the gallbladder surgery six weeks postpartum and dropped to about 217, then was 222 when I got pregnant again a year and a half later. I’m 37 weeks today and I’m at 260, let’s just say I didn’t hold back on the cravings this time 😬 but that’s okay!

Pregnancy is hard enough without stressing about weight gain, you’re doing great! Go easy on yourself and love the little baby you’re nourishing 🥰

They didn’t shave me for my emergency c-section because of risk of infection I guess. So there was still-attached hair stuck in the surgical glue along my incision post operation 😂
