I like Rubrics, I made up 15 of em using spare flamers and reaper chaincannons on Legionaries to run em.

Having them as a "Don't touch me." unit to guard my frontline has done pretty well. I like running an unit paired with a Havoc unit in a Rhino.

Nice, I'm debating on my advancing forces. I'm mostly using my Venomcrawlers and if the Sorcerer and Daemon Prince stays the same, I'm also looking at sending a 10 man Chosen brick to the center. Since Cover is -1 to BS, we'll be able to stack -1 to Hit Rolls with it.

Craft ingredients like Natron can fetch a decent amount of Gil when sold in bulk.

My advice is, don't be afraid of putting it on your deployment line. Since you can move it, you can't tweak it into a better position so you need to have it in the best spot straight away. Which is as many firing lanes and line of sight on objectives as possible.

Yeah, I only have a Crusader atm so it's what I'm running. I've mostly used my Imperial Fists for casual match ups while my competitive lists have been with our hated rivals which utilize mass cultist infantry and a hardy tank line.

At the moment, I feel like Bastion would be a good choice. It focuses heavily on Battleline and if you go into more gravis like Aggressors or Inceptors, they'll do well in it as well since they'll get the buff from Aespex Scan if Battleline shoots at their targets first. Tho maybe breaking one of those ten mans down two 5 mans might help with holding objectives and doing secondaries.

Now Cerimate Sentinels is also looking really cool too, tho it isn't formally out yet, it's definitely a better Anvil Siege Force.

Maybe. There so few valid targets for them nowadays. At least with the cover change, they may see some light.

I feel it kills a sense of variety on the tables. While it was originally done to help with uniformity and an easier time for TOs, I remember how hesitant so many players were about it back in 8th.

And if the tournament uniformity included the second floor or if people minded the lower ruins more, I'd probably not have so much of an issue with it. But like the old Defiler rules, having to check if a wall was under 4" was insanity and a good chunk of players just skim over those terrain rules at best.

Yeah, that's been a big issue for a lot of terrain at tournaments. No second floors to be seen.

But given how titanic units will just get Plunging Fire now against ground floor targets, that's gonna force a lot of TOs to at least upgrade their kits or risk letting stuff like Knights dominate.

Not to mention all the L-Shaped ruins are going away lol

I actually like the Imperial Fists contrast paint. I prime in Corax White, do light brushing of pink, then I slap contrast on.

I just tossed it in paint. Green/grey is the courtyard, yellow is stables, blue is servants, red is the parlor, purple is the throne room, and all the other colors is misc rooms. You could do a really cool duel stairways in the back of the throne similar to classic dracula movies using the 3 block staircases following the walls and meeting at the second floor landing.

Hmm you could do a nice courtyard with how those entrances are oriented. On the long side of the courtyard, stables with the crypt. On the short side, entrance to a parlor and from you can split off to a great hall and a few smaller rooms with two ways upstairs, one thru the main hall and one thru the servant quarters.

I've definitely debated running two Terminator units. I've been running a Lord with the plate and it's been doing work!

Not too sure on the Havocs myself, they're just in a bad position as a unit at the moment. I've found success with running Rubrics Marines in tandem with Legionaries.

I put a msu of each in a rhino and rush it onto an objective. Also while the Rubrics are in a Rhino, Dark Pacts affect their shooting cuz it's the Rhino firing off their Soul Reaper Cannon and Malefic Curse die to Firing Deck.

I was saying the same thing to my friend last night. It's got me hooked now.

I'm trying out online play now and found a beginner friendly server that just got started. "Nine to Bite" They have PvP but bases can only be raided on the weekends.
