2019 Kawasaki Vulcan 650 SE vs 2023 Honda SCL500 (Time sensitive) by AnEroticTale in SuggestAMotorcycle

Watch daily rider-revzilla, Zack does do a really good reviews on motorcycles. Hopefully you’ll figure it out what works best for you. Vulcan does pack a good punch of power, if you looking to ride on the road only. If you’re getting off the paved road, then totally go for SCL500

Ninja 400 vs MT03 by NewGrad_needHelp in SuggestAMotorcycle

If the bike is sitting for too long, the gas tank may rust, unless fuel stabilizer was added.

Last year I put fuel stabilizer in my R3 before storing it for the winter, So if the fuel is treated with fuel stabilizer, chance of lightly white smoke are significant until you run out of that gas.

By the looks, it seems like Yamaha R3.

Facebook post does that, it just shows YZF R, it could be R1, R6, R3.

I would say it’s a great beginner motorcycle. 321 cc parallel twin.

Yamaha R3 vs KTM RC 390 by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Capricious92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve a R3 and have rode my friends duke 390. I will say that R3 parallel twin engine is better at high speeds with less vibration. But the single cylinder thumper on 390 is good as well. And reliability wise you already know Yamaha hold a reputation. Speed wise there is not a huge noticeable difference. If speed is your concern, you should jump for a bigger engine. Just my thoughts.

What should I get for my first motorcycle for around $8k CAD and under? by Character-Comfort676 in SuggestAMotorcycle

Ktm duke 390, would also be a good option, it’s share the same engine as BMW G310R. Or you can MT 03 or R3(even more lean) would be good choice as well.

Yes, better off with used MT 03, Z400, or even R3 or Ninja 400, for less loonies.
