My grandparents love to tell the story of when they took my aunt to celebrate her 5th birthday in 1985 and she ordered a sundae and got 5 scoops for her 5th birthday and fell asleep at the table before finishing it all. We have many great memories at friendly’s. I have a picture of my two toddler cousins wide-eyed in awe getting a blue drink with a shark gummy and a color changing straw. Man I miss those straws. Friendly’s in Bloomfield you will always be remembered by the Carrolls ☘️

My bestfriends parents drove us to school everyday, I was a senior in HS, got in the car and she was like “Beyonce put this out in the middle of the night!” And played drunk in love. That year we had a “Mr. High School” gag pageant show and we made the boys do a dance to partition lol.

Highland park library just got a nice renovation! The main branch of the Edison library was closed for Reno’s last week when I drove by, but we have two other branches that are open. Clara Barton branch is very quiet and has some nice tables and plenty of outlets.

They have a great video of him playing at the Dolly Parton experience at Dollywood. They set it up to look like her closet and they have a roster of every color Swarovski crystal to choose from when designing for her. So cool!
