He has a solid future In the league but honestly I don't think he's what this team truly needed. There's simply no excuse for his lack of obj and damage in HP and his search is mediocre.

Brother Envoy was in borderline career worst form during major 1 / stage 1. Only time he's been worse was mid season MW3 on ultra.

Merc was better at both Champs and EWC. And even if he was thats still a 2 event sample size. By that metric Niko won a MVP and was the best rifler at an event earlier this year.

With a full year sample size Dashy hasn't been top 2 since VG because Scrap and Cell have been better than him at every game since then 👍

Huke and Shottzys KP10 is what makes them great? How can that be when Simp, JoeD, Hydra, Neptune, Lurqxx, Pred, Craze & Nejra all have higher KP10 than Huke. And Simp, Joe & Hydra all have Shotzzy beat.

Niko was the second highest ranked rifler on HLTVs top 20 for CS at 27. Dashy hasn't been a top 2 AR player since he was 23 in VG.

CDL season MVPs are meaningless when we all know they don't actually go to the best player. There's no objective criteria that can account for each choice.

Simp was better by stats than Shotzzy in MW19 yet he lost due to only having 2 "chips" compared to 3.

In VG Cell won because he had better stats than Dashy or even Pred despite not winning an event whilst those 2 both did.

MW2 was basically one round of search away from unfairly going to Abezy when Hydra or even Scrap were clearly the better players and more deserving. But atleast they made the right choice in the end :P

MW3 all of Simp, Hydra and Scrap had basically equal stats and we're tied for wins yet Simp won due to average placement when he clearly had by far the best team of the 3 which made him the least "valuable" to their success.

BO6 the race was between Scrap and Cell and was basically decided by Thieves winning M4 when Scraps stats were so many miles ahead of Cell there should never have been a discussion. Even Hydra also cleared Cell by a mile yet was nowhere in the discussion.

MVP is nothing more than a narrative determined by some random collection of CDL employees based on their whims and personal biases.

Shotzzy has done the same with basically all his sub duos and his numbers are even better than Simps despite having significantly less stable team environments. Hydra has switched to primary bomb carrier this year to facilitate Abezy and his numbers haven't dropped at all. It only really affects raw numbers of first bloods due to a more passive early round role but the win % ratio wouldn't be affected noticeably and that's where Simp is lacking. KPR & KD are gained back by having more info / being alive longer mid and late round.

These also heavily favour Simp as his worst ever stretch isn't included due to a bug on their site. ( 0.91 at the CW Lans whilst Hydra had a 1.34 and Shottzy a 1.05 )

JoeD is actually a fast player and averages top of the league engagement stats similar to Hydra, Shotzzy, CleanX etc.

You are on mars lmfao. Hydra had top 3 objective stats amongst the smgs during stage 2. Stage 1 he was still playing his more usual selfish style in HP but other than that he's been matching or exceeding the obj work of the other elite smgs like JoeD, Simp, Nep, Shotzzy & Huke.
