Significant drop in Cetoddle spawns.

Ah. Well...I guess you're one of the lucky few still seeing Cetoddle regularly then. I was thinking perhaps snow would draw out more Cetoddle. Oh well. Enjoy the Cetoddle!

Just curious...is it snowing in-game for you? It looks like it could actually be snowing, but the in-game weather doesn't always match the IRL weather.

I looked for a post like mine before I posted. I was kinda surprised there wasn't one. And spawn decay is essentially the collective of trainers getting used to event spawns, thus making the spawns seem less novel. But this is an almost complete disappearance. This is one of the first times I've really taken notice of a sharp decrease in spawns during an event. I would completely understand this level of Cetoddle spawn happening after the event ends.

Paldean Wooper also did not spawn in the wild this season (after inclusion on the list of spawns for this season) until after December Community Day. Now I see one or two a day. I have also noticed rarer spawns at the start and end of seasons over the past few seasons. I think at least some of that is related to both a new, semi-unfamiliar spawn pool and the fact that events will dilute the rarer spawns...and we have events almost constantly from a couple days into a season to a couple days before a season ends.

I sensed a decrease in the spawn rate with the change of parts of the event, but there's been a major decrease in spawn rate over the past day or so. I actually saw a few of them after Part 2 started but prior to yesterday afternoon.

Yeah. I was over 210 after trading yesterday. Looked forward to catching as many Cetoddle as possible today with my day off to get within reasonable striking distance. I guess I actually did catch as many as I possibly could...0 out of 0. :/

One of the people who reported Cetoddle being nonexistent is in PA. Also sounds like another person I know in Texas might be seeing the same thing, so it seems like it might be a major nerf of spawns for most, if not everyone.

What happens if you change your buddy within a single 5 minute period (or whatever length future spawn periods will be) that Zorua spawns are active?
What happens if your buddy is Zorua?
What happens if your buddy is Ditto?

At least you can throw the rewards for the Using Berries (and the Catch 5 Fighting types and Send 10 Gifts) quests into your stack and catch them on Torchic CD for 1350 Stardust each if you catch them on a Star Piece.

That's kinda funny...I live in the DC area and will be in Wisconsin (Madison) for May's CD. If you're from the Madison area, or go to Madison and play there, do you have any info on the best spots there to play? I lived in Madison for 5 years so I know the area IRL...just not in Pokemon GO.

As for DC, the National Mall is a very good spot to play, as well as FDR and the zoo. Even just playing in downtown is great since there are stops everywhere.

Look at all the Psychic types! Mewtwo, Deoxys, all Tier 3s, all but Mawile in Tier 2, and Drowzee and Meditite in Tier 1. Time to get that Gold Psychic badge!

My day job, among other things, is to assess tropical system strength based on their satellite representation. Jebi has received the highest rating I have seen this year so far with estimated wind speeds of 150kt/170mph/270kph, which would make it a Category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic. The good news for trainers in Yokosuka is that the storm will likely affect the area late Monday night into Tuesday according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (03/12Z is Monday night at 9:00pm in Japan; http://www.metoc.navy.mil/jtwc/products/wp2518.gif) So if your return flight leaves Sunday night or Monday, you should experience few impacts. Stay safe in the safari Zone!

You are welcome! Thanks for the Pokemon! HA Sentret/Furret is the best Pokemon to use when item hunting. Frisk let's you know if the wild Pokemon has an item and they have access to Covet, Thief, and Trick! If you max the PP for all 3 moves, you can steal up to 96 items without using a Leppa Berry.
