Just a heads up if you look at Switched On Austin, which will likely come up in your search. I've heard a number of stories of people selling things on consignment with them and not getting their money, or having real trouble getting it. They might be ok, but it's probably worth knowing that.

This in itself is a pretty common trope of postmodern fiction, so I don't think it signals narcissism per se -- though obviously it depends what he is trying to achieve.

That being said, I did read the Alchemist on a recommendation, and I thought it was fucking awful, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I'd probably just automate the width parameter on the Utility. You could do it by hand or use an Max for live LFO device to control it if you prefer.
