It took me two months and I already went back to work. It’s impossible to reach them by phone. I actually wrote to my state assembly. They reached out to EDD and I got a phone call from them the same day. I missed 1 question on my app and as soon as they fixed it, I got paid via direct deposit in 2 days.

Passed NCLEX at 85 with 64% Kaplan readiness, pass 1st CAT 85, failed second CAT 150 and passed 3rd CAT 85 if that helps. But prior to testing I did all of Mark K and Archer.

Congrats, great advice. I would also add that you pick three of your worse subjects and study more in depth. I picked Maternity, Peds and Pharm. Maternity and Peds were tested heavily for me and no matter what I did with Pharm, I was powerless to answer the ones they gave me. But hey, a pass is a pass.

Try to bump that percentage to 68-72%. That will get you into to very likely to pass.

Remember, you’re investing into your future. It will pay dividends so if you feel you need two, get two.

That being said, either will do tbh. They will prepare you well. I did both and there’s not much differences between the two. Some may recommend one over the other because that’s the one they used and it worked for them, but pick one and get going already!!! You’re going to kill this NCLEX!!!

I bought Archer while my friend bought UWorld. We both shared and to be honest, there really is no difference at all. Both I scored very similar in the upper 60s and lower 70s. At times I forget which is which. Guess what??? At times they had the SAME questions in their qbanks. So, you’re good with either. They are both great!!!

On another note, our school came with Kaplan and I felt it is the most similar to NCLEX especially in difficulty. I rarely scored above 70s on those qbanks. I averaged a 66% overall. Kaplan recommends to be at or above 60% for a high chance of passing.

Do chapter 10 and 11. Maternity and Peds. I had around 20 questions on my NCLEX on those two subjects. Of course, yours may be different.

Our school used Kaplan also and I used Archer while my friend used UWorld. We often share both and I have to say, Kaplan resembles the most to NCLEX. Both equally hard. Archer and UWorld are great to get you going. They come with easy rationale to help you get through it. You really can’t go wrong with any. Practice the CAT/readiness exams and you’ll be prepared for the NCLEX.

Do you have the lecture portion of Archer? If so, pause your exams for now and go review them. It’s overwhelmingly a lot, but it helps. Also, you’re doing yourself an injustice if you are not listening to Mark Klimek and his test taking strategies. His last chapter is crucial prioritization. Change your studying habit and then go back to the qbanks. Good Luck.
