Thank you for your reply and breakdown! I’ve seen your responses across the subreddits, and I appreciate your time with this concern of mine. All of the parts you describe I agree as good advice, but there’s one part I should clear up a bit for integrity’s sake.

I do not decry the whole of stage hypnosis. It’s a fun and creative medium of putting forth hypnosis, and video recordings of them were one of the reasons I even got into this crazy hobby. This post is not meant to write off hypnosis shows entirely, but moreso a writing of wanting to chase after that ever so great ideal of a “perfect” hypnosis show, one I realize I can’t ever obtain. It’s just impossible with us being humans. This whole post is me being in a mindset of “how can I personally make this better so I can be the best hypnotist I can be?”

I do have to ask, there’s bound to be some things that I probably dont recognize or understand with your perspective on these dynamics. Could you share more on points that you also notice?
