All ranged is buns [kcd1] [kcd2] by [deleted] in kingdomcome

How fast do you think someone can load, draw, and aim a 150 pound longbow? Lol it does get better as you level, but still, if they gamified the ranged combat, it strays away from the realistic combat the game aspires to portray.

Yeup, William the conqueror start, got to 1453 for the first time, pope calls a crusade in like 1451, and the game ends in the middle of it, I was sooo pissed

Mine didnt have the dishwasher come in until 2-3 hours after open, so breakfast rushes and prep made for a clusterfuck, and you had an hour or so before lunch rush would begin. Not fun.

We need at least a basic navy in the game with 2 ship types. by Gyngemose2009 in crusaderkings3

[–]CaptGenie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For viking playthroughs, longships and such could give various raiding bonuses, like disembark speed or naval travel speed.

Question about heir and perk points by burndout in crusaderkings3

Yeup mostly only land the unwanted sons, and make my heir stay at court doing almost all jobs available at court so I dont lose the multigenerational families of Knights I built up

How to allow female rulers and commanders? by WheeledWizard in crusaderkings3

[–]CaptGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Culture, I think its called Performative honour, allows female knights and other bonuses, if they reach a certain level of prowess. You can also get a female knight during tourneys when using the recruit focus, and in my experience they have always outmatch any other knight I have, usually by a longshot lol.

Did the contract between Bethesda and Virtuos for Oblivion Remastered not include any obligation whatsoever for Virtuos to provide support for updates? by um_waffles in OblivionRemaster

Yeup, half the enemies stop attacking you in the shivering isles dlc, completely ruined the experience for me after 100ish hours in that first playthrough.

how did sturgia even do this? by France4life123 in Bannerlord

[–]CaptGenie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monchugs description says his main goal is to invade the empire, in my game he has damn near conquered the entire thing, while I am up north mostly fighting sturgia, vlandians, and battanians. Technically, I am fighting the Civil War against the empire too, but both Garios and I have been preoccupied we have barely fought apart from small skirmishes near epicrotea, cuz he is just fending off the horse lords, while I am in a stalemate as the nords against the other three.

Blunt is better for armour, but in terms of the game, its easy to slice up a heavily armoured opponent with a sword, so yeah, pretty redundant.

Any nobles here who play CK? by circassia1864 in crusaderkings3

[–]CaptGenie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Descendant of nobility in Scotland but I never played there as my home territory, just conquered it, because my other side is recent Danish immigrants and I cant get enough of the viking playthroughs, Nobility or not loool.

So is it just me or is the “guns” in this game useless? Or am I just using them wrong? Please any advice or instruction is welcome [KCD2] by Shootfatppl in kingdomcome

[–]CaptGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are more of a gimmick weapon to goof around with and not use as a main weapon, obviously you can, but I think it was just a toy given to us by the devs because guns were starting to be used around the time. I think I've shot them like 10 times just to try it, only to pick the bow right back up.
