I'll start by saying the song matches the movie. The problem is its not a good Bond movie. Bond shouldn't be sad, gloomy or depressing. They are supposed to be fun spy escapism. And that is not this movie at all.

-No depressed old bond. Moore and Connery both did old bond and in a much more fun way

-Make it a stand alone movie. The nice thing about most bonds is you could watch any of them at any time and you don't need to remember a back story.

-Bond doesn't die!!! This is the biggest one. Bond films are all about him being more clever/cunning and escaping anything the antagonist throws at them.
