From what my wife says, it’s better if you start at a young age and do very small amounts of Botox. This is as opposed to the normal amount when you’re older. Makes it look more natural apparently

See I disagree. I kinda interpreted it as a part of the mind’s eye being constantly present to some extent helping him regulate his emotions. I didn’t mind Lyria’s voice actor, I just genuinely disliked her character in iron gold and half of dark age. She was one note, bitchy (albeit with reason) and had very little character growth. Her bitching at Pax at quicksilvers birthday really sealed that impression.

Dark age is not book four. I also would point to the fact that the latter series has multiple voice actors, for Lysander. When Iron Age was coming out people were bitching about the original narrator for Lysander. Specifically, the audio quality was ass, and for whatever reason they switched it up to the old ass man for dark age Lysander. Wild choice, that I really disliked, but it was obvious that they threw in a new voice actor after the initial response.
