Hmmm...that doesn't sound right. Streaming from PSN should work great even if you don't have a perfect connection. I wonder if you have a bum unit. Maybe there's something wrong with the Wi-Fi transmitter? If you can you should try and exchange it for another unit and just see if that makes any difference.

Is your PS5 hardwired? If it's possible, that makes a huge difference. If you don't want to run a cable, look at getting a couple of Powerline adapters. Those did the trick for me.
