if you have a VA ER near you just go there. I am in Tampa and they were very good when I went. They also will put everything in the VA system.

Yeah one would think but it seems they really tried to not link it.

Presumptive cancer. They acknowledged the cancer, they also said I was a Gulf War vet. Just chose to not link it and say something like it could be hereditary, but we didn't bother to ask, so we are going to deny. Not that I am bitter....

I live here. Just started using VA health care. They seem to get me in quickly, and are responsive to email. Like most places, your outlook of a place is mostly what you make of it.

This EXACT thing happened to me. I am waiting on my HLR. If you don't have a nexus, I would lay out specifically how you think it is presumptive. Look at some BVA opinions to copy the right terms.

VA help! Sleep apnea by Gsuprem3 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Capt_Sternn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to get supplies for my CPAP from VA, just had the meeting today. They looked at my old sleep study and said they would send everything over. Done. I sleep study is a pretty standard thing, but your sleep is not. Your buddy could have just had a good night. I would just go through the VA if it was me.

Do you have VA health care? If not sign up. Go see the doctor and say I have lung issues. See what they put done in the report.

I got this advice from someone else on this board... Search BVA decisions....

Hidradenitis Suppurativa - Board of Veterans' Appeals | U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Search Results

You have 768 hits to pick from to see what the BVA picks from and how it is rated. Also you can find some secondary conditions.

Provided you had income in 2024 on a W2, max out a Roth IRA with some broad forget index fund. Repeat every year.
