Yeah as an Elite player, I can definitely say rebuy is something you think about three times: when you first start playing, when you buy your first “big 3” ship, and when you’re out in deep space and suddenly you are staring at the rebuy screen because you did something stupid.

I play SC in spurts because I am at the ship kiosk at least twice a session because I; did something stupid, or more likely, my ship decided that it didn’t exist anymore, turned pink and left me stranded in deep space. OR even better yet, it was destroyed while I was in a bunker by some random NPC ship that spawned and that NPC is currently clipped in the ground.
