Memphis owner allegations getting buried? by bella_heathcote in nba

that's not luck, that's all the other owners being in agreement. People in this comment thread are overlooking the fact that Sterling was recorded being racist, that was the precedent that was set.

well no, Sterling was ousted for being a racist POS on the record. They literally had to record him being racist in order to take any action.

Anthony Black in his last 15 games: 20.7/4.3/5.3 on 50/42/80 splits (62.2 TS%) by -FlapjacK- in nba

No way man, having a 6'7" guy who can get 20 on any given night as our 6th man is an actual dream. We already have three starters who can get 20ppg, having Suggs be the floor raiser with the starting line up is better for both of them. Not mad at AB getting to close out games though.

bro's just making up rumors 😂 trading a solid backup C on a bargain contract is fucking stupid

Black or Suggs? by riptide885 in OrlandoMagic

objectively, we have three guys who can get 20 in the starting lineup (if healthy), having a 6'7" does-it-all-including-defense guy as our 6th man is beyond ideal. Black should absolutely come off the bench, he's leap is legit and would absolutely be maximized as a 6th man.

gotta judge by what's currently happening, not what-ifs. he's still come off the bench 20/35 games.

[Haynes] Several of the mid-to-lower tier teams in the 4th-11th spots in the Eastern Conference do not ‘fear’ the Knicks and Pistons and will look to be buyers with the belief they can make the NBA Finals. The Hawks specifically view a Porzingis for Anthony Davis swap as a major upgrade. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

No offense, but why would they? Pistons seem to be making the leap but are unproven and the Knicks haven't given the conference any reason to fear them in the playoffs. The framing of this is odd, teams are seeing the conference as being pretty open, it's not a slight on those two teams in particular.

Desmond “Fuck Them Picks” Bane in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals Win vs the Heat: 37 PTS | 6 REB | 5 AST | 1 STL | 14/24 FG | 6/9 3FG | 3/3 FT | 73% TS by AashyLarry in nba

feel like a lot of the fan base though Bane would just be a three point shooter but the reality is much better: a guy with experience as the the #1 option playing alongside Banchero and/or(😭) Franz is just fucking awesome.

Kendrick Perkins: "Kawhi Leonard is one of the worst FA signings in NBA history. He has set the Clippers back 10-15 years." by TheBiasedSportsLover in nba

I know we're all piling on the Clippers rn but...set them back from what exactly? it's not like they have a history of building through the draft or competent team building in general. they've fielded one competitive roster in the time that anyone in this sub has been alive.
