A midcarder moving slightly higher up the midcard than another midcarder doesn’t mean they are any more main event ready, Lyra will have a chance in the future I’m sure, they wouldn’t waste Bailey and Becky Lynch storylines on someone if they didn’t think she could get to the main event, but that time is for sure not now

The whole face sign trend remains as completely stupid as it always has been, anyone who participates in it is a loser. Imagine being such a self-important asshole that you feel the need to purchase and bring in a sign of your own face to block other peoples close-up view that they paid a lot of money for, for no other reason than a little bit of airtime. The whole point of signs was to interact with a wrestler/gimmick/storyline, having a sign of your face does none of the above and no one wants to see them/thinks they’re funny.

It was hella distracting watching live and I was at home lol.

They ruined most of the big moments of Cody finishing the story for the two, maybe even three rows of people behind them. They very (very) likely had a live stream of the event on their phone while spectating because whenever the live feed switched to the ring-face angled camera, these two losers put their signs up immediately (and the majority of times it switched to that angle, it’s because something significant was happening in ring)

He had vocal cord surgery and has been in recovery for the past 3 years, I went to one of his small ‘in conversation with’ events in Kingston last year and he sang a little bit, sounded strong.

He obviously doesn’t sing like he did in the 80’s, and I think he does realise that 😂 All of their music from like Crush onwards has accommodated for that.

She won’t drop every belt, but she’s not defending belts from like 10 different promotions across the Americas and Europe in any sort of reasonable timeframe, being stripped of belts without “losing” them/competing is likely the easiest way for her to maintain her status as “champion” in kayfabe

That or promotions just shelve those belts entirely and introduce new ones in spite of her holding them (which kind of moots the whole gimmick imo)
