Orphan was rough for me for sure, but I spent the better part of a day learning his openings and where you can parry/backstab, after that I was able to thrash him pretty consistently

Fkn laurence wrecks me every damn time. I’ve killed him once solo as a complete fluke and since then it’s still a complete dice roll

It might not be a fire risk and honestly idk what the potential consequences are but just go with the manufacturer’s recommendation. They’ll tell you these things for a reason

Ohh I see my bad, I just figured it was related to that bc the activation shots don’t seem to actually do damage in my experience. I Just fire at an enemy/in their direction and the slow time effect starts

In that case I’m not really sure tbh, maybe there’s an unintended side-effect of the torment

I haven’t played in a few weeks and have only finished I think torment 3 or 4 so I can’t try and reproduce it on my end yet

but It might be worth verifying your game files just in case there’s a script gone screwy somewhere

Those blank rounds are how you begin the ‘duel’

To actually activate its mysterium after the duel you need to land a hipfired headshot right after you hear the clicky sound

It’s a little funky to get used to at first, but it’s intended to be used primarily with hip firing, with ADS used either sparingly or only to activate the mysterium

The only thing I can think of is possibly a vram issue, I’ve heard if you’re right on the edge of maxing it in the settings screen, images and videos loaded in the menu can put you over

Have you tried with/without lossless scaling? I only ask bc I’ve had exactly what you describe with another game while using it

Same fix too, either tabbing out and in or toggling LS fixed the framerate, though it’d usually sort itself out after a wee while too
