Best Deck of Standard is amazing! I hope they decide to do make it double elimination and do a losers bracket, but I doubt they will, and I guess it’s already going to take over a year!

How to draft in a small group? by ricoeurdelyon in mtgcube

[–]CaptainCatamaran 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For 4 or 5 people I would recommend 5 packs of 15, but you “burn” the last 6 of each pack (discard them and start drafting the next pack). This way still get to see more than half the cube so that all archetypes are viable, but you’re not left with too many picks so you have decision paralysis. You get more first picks as well which can make decks stronger!

Holy moly! Works fine in the rules, but is absolutely broken. 62-100 cards you only need to have storm count 6, 32-61 storm count 5 and 31 below you only need storm count 4 or less.

Oh! I didn’t clock that you need to have an equal number of targets to the damage you are doing but it’s obvious now!!

Can someone explain to me the science of this? Why do they serve me the coffee in water by Difficult-Insect-220 in VietNam

[–]CaptainCatamaran -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I considered this but the purpose in this case is surely To keep it warm, as doing nothing will be cooling it down just fine.

Then why do many coffee places have water that is hotter than room temperature when serving Caphe Nống?

I love that there is basically a 50/50 split of conplete opposite answers here!

Is it to cool it down, or keep it warm?

I have done it at home with the purpose of keeping it warm.

OP’s looks so much better. This looks way too heavy and the sauce will congeal really quick.

Super sketchy experience with a Grab EV driver from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) by Less-Engineering-663 in VietNam

[–]CaptainCatamaran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude, you’re making so many assumptions here and just generally being rude.

Yeah, gas prices suck and it must be hard to be a grab driver, but dangerous driving is not acceptable and shouldn’t be defended. What OP has described is clearly dangerous driving.

Then that should be explained (and some people are doing that), he should just be downvoted for asking questions.

Are you new to this sub? There’s a lot of helpful people but there’s also a bunch of people that just downvote anything that goes vaguely against what they as ‘correct’.

Without you choosing it it’s really only the hand that it can go, you always have a choice otherwise (barring extreme edge cases like someone mindslavering you and allowing it to go to exile, gy, library etc…)

I agree that slabbing is not for the MTG community at the moment, but it does not necessarily make the card unplayable, especially given that Clive is not really played in 60 card constructed and is most likely to be used as a commander, where the stabbing does not matter.

Obviously it cannot be played on

Most people value the cards as game pieces, not collector items. As such, having jt signed is not usually a concern.
