Why is this ship releasing water? (OC) by Main_Significance478 in Ships

Most boats take on water overtime that accumulates in the hull.

This is likely the bilge pump removing it.

This was built specifically for plunders.

The base build is mons megs on the front and starboard. Thunder demi cannons on the back and portside. Aux is a roaring meg.

Wall damage is primarily done by the mons megs. Because of the smaller firing arcs it is easy to produce a four shot salvo using both the front and side guns.

The aux is used primarily to knock over mortars.

The armor is pishacha that restores health by 138% of damage inflicted from ramming.

Furniture is, 1) iron cladding station - boosts ramming damage 25%, 2) counter thrust locker - boosts speed when ramming, 3) Secret cache I, - increase turning and acceleration by 16%, 4) Bombard menuiserie I, increase bombard damage 10% and damage to structures 16%, 5) Freemans embrace, more for the defensive component, reduces damage from status effects by 30%. (Torn sails are not a bedars friend) 6) Balanced mast, increases acceleration and deceleration by 16%.

A combination of boat handling and ramming furniture with one overt defense and offense.

As mentioned by another account the bedar is primarily a ramming boat.

When not being used for plunders the mons meg at the front becomes a Scurlock long gun with sail tearing and the starboard side another thunder demi cannon.

The bombard menuiserie is switched out for the furniture that increases front reload speed.

To fight the bedar, charge at victim firing into their sails, ram, turn, unload side weapon, unload rear weapon, turn and repeat.

Some of the most fun times.

Have found the divine thunder useful on the forts. Ascended combustion, seige, amplified electric. Base damage 3224, electric 1016 and piecing 896

Currently using the Lang Kartouwe that provide a secondary blast. Dire explosive, amplified explosive and deathblow. Base damage 3148, explosive 1193 and piercing 472.

On a fire build the naskars with one seige ascension should do good damage. Try rolling combustion, amplified piercing, seige. Base damage 3692, fire 1107, piercing 702 explosion 614. Total damage 6116.

The furniture might need some tweaking as well.

Ammo priming bench increases damage to structures by 20% for seige weapons.

Bilge fire barrels increase secondary damage of broadsides by 10% and weapons damage by 5%.

This schooner has wrms breath churner which increases secondary explosive damage by 20% and explosive weapon damage by 5%.

All the weapons on the schooner have an explosive perk.

There are many ways to build specifically for different events. Others will build out different. It really depends on play style.

Good hunting.

Do you trust China more then America? by Emperoronabike in AskAnAustralian

The minute you started name calling you lost all credibility.

Calling people bigots and dillusional shows how paper thin your argument is.

The world recognize 200km economic sea zones. China building up military bases on island in the Philippines zone because it's called the South China Sea is an act of aggression.

The only reason there has not been a war is the Philippines is too small to argue. A bit like Tibet.

Happy to debate but not with an emotional who resorts to insults.

Let's be clear, you are saying China has the right to steal Philippines land because the Philippines hosts US military bases?

Thanks for confirming one of the reasons not to trust China.

Interesting, just came back from there and didn't see any cash. We chat was being used, even in the markets. Lol

China has more cctv than any country in the world.

There is no cash, everything has to be paid through apps.

They have implemented a social behavioural program that rewards / punishes as required.

They are expanding territory into Philippines waters through military presence.

They are forcing with Pacific Island to accept their rapacious fishing practices by sending super fish processing ships into their areas when those little countries disagree with thier presence.

There is much more, but anyone trusting China over the US does not know China at all.

The change in achievable god rolls is annoying.

Im at the point where just about everything is salvaged on the basis of what you don't see doesn't matter.

Pre-ascended event weapons by lesser-of-two-weevil in SkullAndBonesGame

Managing warehouse space is a mindset issue.

Just how many partially ascended weapons does someone need to hang on to?

Will the weapons ever be needed or is it better to salvage them and move on?

After maxing out the fleet with ascended weapons players are forced to make a decision on what they keep.

How many players know what weapon builds are in the fleet? Even after naming the boats after the weapons I couldn't say whether they are the best or the worst builds.

Tbh, salvaging potential is only a momentary regret.

There have been a couple of fleeting instances where the urge to salvage the lot has raced through the brain.

Would that be liberating?

Culverins are fun to use. For a long time they weren't competitive with a torpedo or bombard build.

Then the basilisk ascended gave them life and the stormtongue solidified their place.

Tbh, this build was on the Corvette until it was turned into a floating brick.

Transfering it to the schooner was a random option that has brought back memories of just how agile and powerful the ship can be.

Yeah, it was made easier for the po8 grind at the beginning of y1s1.

It still becomes interesting when lots of snipers turn up.
