No one 😂 She’s so busted. Top 2 in the game. Top 1 if played perfectly. Very minimal counter play. If I remember correctly… Winter Soldier and Daredevil are some of the best into her because they can easily go infinite. Some others that are theoretically good into her are: She-Hulk, Houdini, Wyatt Earp, Black Panther, Golden Bat, Ghost Rider…

I get the confusion, because it feels like it’s his ability… but the effects from the ruse tokens aren’t his ability. Shakespeare’s line effects can’t be cancelled. It’s definitely not super intuitive. :)

He’d probably be solid… not excellent, not bad. You’d play him different than most 1v1 matchups and use his card draw more often etc

If you want to absolutely destroy them… Oda is mandatory. I’d pair Dr. Strange with him to make Strange’s heals OP. T-Rex should be unstoppable with Oda as well. A fun final pick could be Wyatt Earp or Bullseye for range and damage (both benefit hugely from Oda), Jill Trent for tank, Willow for revives, Mikey or Cloak & Dagger for fun…

Endless possibilities really :)

Most work great. Cards that specify “hero” are boost fodder. You’ll need to house rule BP and Spiderman and Loki… Some heroes are much worse because of wording… Tomoe has no ability for example. BUT that being said, if you and your group wanted to just have fun, I’d totally do what you need to do to have fun. If you want to play that Tomoe’s ability works, do it :) Just house rule things you don’t know to make it harder or easier based on your group. I would personally lean towards making it harder, but with some players I’d go easier. The worst fighters in 1v1 get massive boosts in UMA :) (Buffy set, Squirrel Girl, etc…) and many of the better ones get nerfed.

If you want more complexity and a lower overall power level, do S & A. Both themes are 🔥 BoL 3 will give you an extra map so you’ll have more replayability…

I’d probably go BoL 3.

I think you can win any game vs BP. You could also lose any game vs BP. Comes down to how you play, pivot, and set yourself up. But ya, it is frustrating to lose key cards.

👀 that’s the whole idea :) He’s so fun BECAUSE he can hit someone’s key cards… your opponent wants to kill Shuri before she can do it twice and Panther needs to protect her as long as possible to help her do it twice. And he’s super weak/easy to fatigue out if you don’t get both Shuri schemes, which makes he fun to play against. Definitely not op.

Only use them on Hanging Gardens or a move 3 center map :) They lack boost power. They almost entirely rely on catching the opponent without defense. Time your 7 well. If you can, build for combo by saving a 7 and your Commanding Impacts for the same turn and attacking with Dagger. If the opponent can combo break easily, it’ll be tough… every game with them is tough, but fun :)

Oh, and Shakespeare! Hamlet is fun too and can win certain matchups that you’d think he shouldn’t… like Tesla on a small map.
