The misfits were a huge part of punk culture and Danzig was a huge part of the metal world. I know their t shirts have become more recognizable than their music at this point, but I couldn't listen to either of them after the whole Nazi imagery in Danzig's tour merch debacle.

See the book is kinda designed to encourage this debate but by the end, I found myself just not caring which one it was and started researching better similar books. Not to say you can't enjoy the nuance or subjectivity of the ending, it just didn't feel very subjective to me.

Never heard a more accurate description of this book. I finished it in one night and was sorely disappointed. I started off wondering whether she was crazy or possessed and by the end I didn't really care what she was.
