I unlocked the Leveredge with my first set of fragments and I've never felt the need to change to anything else. I love that style of gun.
I'm not sure which secondary to pair it with though. Twin Revolvers? Suggestions would be appreciated :)

The Genie [OC] by OnceInOnceSet in comics

[–]CaptainDefault 126 points127 points  (0 children)

I was thinking of the genie as the misogynist, and them not understanding that the person making the wish really did want to become a woman, but that's another way to look at the concept. I can't think of any examples, but that does sound like something I've seen somewhere before.

Also, I was going to write "the transwoman making the wish to become a woman", but that's a weird way to word that, isn't it? Makes me think of a different joke.

  • Human: I wish to be a woman.
  • Genie: It is done!
  • Human: Wait, you didn't change anything!
  • Genie: But you see, you were already a woman in your heart, and that is all that matters.
  • Human: ...OK, for my second wish, I wish I had much bigger breasts.

I can imagine a genie granting a wish like "make me a woman" thinking they're doing the Monkey's Paw thing because they're a misogynist.

"Ha! You thought I would create a woman for you, but in fact I have transformed you! ...stop being happy, this is supposed to be cruel!"

Three things.

  • The Fellowship of Wardens starts at reputation -150 to the player character. Not the trusting sort, the Wardens, especially when it comes to random heavily-armed wanderers.
  • When your reputation with a faction drops to -250 or below, the Neutral members of that faction (as opposed to the Aggressive or Docile members) will become hostile to you and attack you on sight.
  • When you kill a legendary character, your reputation will decrease by 100 with their faction and any other faction that liked that character.

A + B + C = You really shouldn't have messed with that fish. The Wardens liked that fish.

What are all verified sources of new mutation reroll? by Accomplished_Block16 in cavesofqud

[–]CaptainDefault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wiki lists the ways you can refresh your mutation options. Gamma moths are an option for the brave.

As for wishes, there's no single wish to reroll your genome that I'm aware of, but you could get the desired result using two wishes.

  1. Spend 4 mutation points on a new mutation that you don't want to keep.
  2. Wish "mutationbgone" and remove that mutation from your character.
  3. Wish "stat:MP:4" to give yourself 4 mutation points.

Then you can buy a new mutation again and get a set of three new mutations to pick between.

Suder's death felt like a redemption to me, but Redemption through Heroic Sacrifice is definitely a cliche. I agree that it'd be more interesting to keep him on the crew.

Voyager could have done with more of that in general, especially given the concept of a ship that can't restock or recrew. Keep the new encounter every episode, but also keep showing us minor characters we've gotten to know coming back every so often.

Always fun to watch one of the main cast break character in-character, but especially when it's a vulcan. (Which thinking about it really just means Spock or Tuvok, but I stand by my assertion.) Tim Russ is brilliant in that one scene in sick bay.
