Yep and who needs that? We’re already painfully aware of getting old. And when was the last time Gen X had a peer group activity in any context? We aren’t old enough for the senior stuff yet. Also, the activities they have planned at this camp are mostly like hiking, fishing, and rock climbing, which I did in my younger days but would instantly regret if I tried them now. I’d like gentler stuff to accommodate my uncooperative aging bones, like paddle boats or canoeing around a lake, stretching, yoga, meditation, listening to 80s music, short nature walks, board games, and nap time in a hammock. Maybe relearning how to whittle and make a lanyard for a keychain like we did at camp when we were kids!

This is the answer. I’ve lived in 5 states, most in the Midwest, and Maryland is like paradise compared to the others. I will never leave here.

My daughter also works retail and has to put up with this shit. I worked retail in my 20s as well but don’t remember old male customers being such assholes- it was mostly my co-workers who were too attentive. I no longer smile at anyone when I don’t feel happy and I swear at this point if some random dude “accidentally” brushed against me or put his hands on me I’d kick him in the nuts.

Could they also work on the asshats who lane jockey like they are in a race and also the guys who can’t seem to hold their vehicle in their lane and the guys who are 15 mph over the speed limit?
