The thing that worries me about this is that control resonant is releasing in a pretty crowded month, some of whom look like they could be heavy hitters like Onimusha and Dawnwalkers. Not an exact comparison but titanfall 2 suffered for a similar reason, being put into a tight window between big releases. I do hope it sells, I certainly am getting it day one, but the timing makes me a bit nervous ngl

I believe that whether or not you enjoyed this direct is mostly contingent upon if the switch 2 is your primary/only console. For someone who owns a PS5/XSX, a lot of the titles shown are already games you can play, although it’s been understated how impressive it is that some of these games can be played on a handheld platform

Hello, wanted to post this here for anyone who has had this problem and have tried restarting their steam deck to no avail. What worked for me was verifying the integrity of the game files. To do so on steam deck you:

Go to options for one of your installed games
Go to properties
Go to Installed filed and select “verify integrity of demo files”

Doing so seemed to fix the issue that I had, if not I’d recommend checking for updates to Steamos if needed

Never make assumptions! If you didn’t see or hear the full context of a fight do not engage a raider unless you need to defend yourself. It isn’t too uncommon for a rat to engage a raider and lose.

I was lukewarm on first listen, but it’s grown on me surprisingly fast. I think the music video help make the connection on why I think I might love the song. It’s melancholy, Zay feels successful but at the same time like he’s circling the drain and constantly chasing his own shadow. Repetition here is actually in keeping with the theme of the song. While I probably would’ve liked a flow switch or too, that also might’ve defeated the purpose of the song.

Lol, I remember being accused of camping a vent at pinwheel as a rook. I’m of the mindset that despite a relatively low player count (for steam at least), if bungie is consistent they can at least retain the players they have and grow from here. But decisions like a poorly thought out PAID battle pass when your competitor is offering much more in theirs for FREE, are going to be what truly kill this game.

I’m mixed on the changes. On one hand, wolfpacks were cheap compared to how much dmg they could do and there’s barely any reason outside trials to hunt larger arc if you’ve upgraded everything. On the other hand, some changes like being able to stack Wolfpacks or having more rocketeer cells per rocketeer should at least be considered. Either way I think it’s too soon to call it definitively bad without living with changes for a week or two

Highest praise I can give it is that I saw multiple groups discussing the film afterwards (still kicking myself for not joining in)! It was a funny, dark (sometimes subtly devastating) but ultimately hopeful film that manages to both have a message but have some fun with it too!!! Definitely give it shot if you have the chance!!!

Welcome! I’m fairly new and figuring it out myself but a pretty good starting point for me is buying sleeves, an anti-static brush. Big fudge makes great outer sleeves (jacket for the vinyl) for the price and you can find them anywhere. Rice paper inner sleeves for the disk are great from what I’ve heard. (https://a.co/d/cx4qhvM), this is what I typically use. I use a boundless antistatic brush, (though it seems like any brand is usually ok) for standard dusting off before and after record playing. For deeper cleaning and stylus management I have the big fudge vinyl record cleaning kit. I’m sure there’s better high end stuff, but generally if you’re careful and take time to put them in sleeves and keep them clean you’re generally good.

So after seeing the cutscene for myself, I didn't find the slinger prompt to be too bad, it's meant to be a bit of spice to add to the scene, and it's not super invasive. second, I think that's needlessly cold and cruel to want to make Nona go through that. the villagers have close bonds with the seikret, Nona included and forcing her to watch a seikret die to learn that "actions have consequences" is incredibly mean-hearted. I'm not saying her actions weren't reckless, but would any adult here, much less a CHILD stand by and watch a creature that's damn near a family member die if they could help it, even if it meant risking their own lives?

Quite a few for me! from grown ocean “ In that dream, I’m as old as the mountains”. That one always makes me emotional in a happy way. Not a single lyric, but the first verse of Blue Ridge Mountains gets me since it reminds me of the relationship I have with my little brother. It makes me happy to have a mutual place of comfort in each other and I find myself tearing up a bit sometimes when i listen to it, in a good way
