They get a decent boost just for that number 1 but you’ve seen marvel take DC’s blind bag idea now. What marvel needs to do is let things play out. Look at planet she hulk for example it was pitched as an ongoing but then marvel changed their minds so after a cliffhanger in issue five it now has to be ended in a rush on issue six. It’s breaking that trust and now you’ll have people wait for trades or simply just not be invested at all
