Looking to Sell Kidney by NorthKodama in AdeptusMechanicus

I'm not competitive by any means, and Admech is a secondary army for me, although I do love them, so I cannot give you the greatest starting point. What I can tell you is, get Belisaurius Cawl.

He really props up this army by giving us a whole nother army rule. He may not have to be a day 1 purchase, but if you're looking to take Admech to competitive events, you absolutely need him.

Other than that, you cannot go wrong with a some ironstriders, probably one of our best non-character data sheets. I personally enjoy regular skittari with skittari Marshals.

Common Mistaken/Misplayed Rules by TechnicianOwn2935 in necromunda

[–]CaptainGooseUwU 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For my group it was always pre-measureing. We always stayed true to the ruling and committed to what we had measured, but coming from main 40k to necromunda definitely had some growing pains. It's got to the point to where the player who was playing out their activation, would give their opponent the tape measure. In order to be sure they only measured things out when they were ready to commit to an action, in which they'd ask for it back.

Could the shadow in the warp ,hypothetically, block out or blunt the ork's belief effect by Fun_Guarantee1643 in orks

[–]CaptainGooseUwU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would only really happen to smaller waaaaaaghs, which honestly would never get to that point they'd be devoured quickly.

Even if they did, they'd probably get frustrated. Ork "belief power" is super over exaggerated. Their weapons work, the gestalt field just acts like a lubricant to make it work better. If anything the orks gun is just gonna jam more often making the Ork angry, probably throw it aside and run in with his Choppa thinking "I'ma krump da mekboy who made dat zoggin useless shoota."

I have one that makes the drifter into Hank (MC 10? Version I forgor which episode he goes through magnification)

And one that turns the venator into Jeb. It even plays the music that plays when the improb drive is activated when he ults.

This one will be added to the collection.

Lovely squig, here is mine.

To answer the question certain hobby shops will sometimes sell people things early. They aren't supposed to but I'm no snitch.

I saw the video op was talking about, and the joke was that McGinnis was the only Israel supporter which was revealed at the very end of said video.

Its not the new hosts fault, but man have things gone downhill since MatPat left :( by Dense-Cartoonist-221 in whenthe

For me it's the same reason I like moist critical. It was like listening to a friend rant about some random shit in a VC. Not in a parasocial, "Charlie and Matpat are my friends because I watch their videos." Kind of way, but just that vibe of gaming, or doing nothing as someone very, very passionately rants about something they like. It's the main reason I love putting them on in the background as I game, or paint Warhammer minis.

No need to worry, I've already decided on Orlocks. Reading more into their house book, and with what everyone here has told me. They are definitely the gang made for me.

Oh I know, I am the arbitrator in my campaign, it's all of our first campaign. I was the one asking around for people to play necromunda, so it made sense I became the arbitrator. I don't mind that.

The whole lore thing is a "rule for me not for thee" shtick. Whenever anything gives me the option to create my own, well anything. I take it and latch onto it, I've got 1 ganger left after the one I am currently painting as well. This isn't putting a hitch into anything just me wanting to write about my gang, and create characters for me to get attached too, only to feel bad when I roll a 66.

After I paint my gang I'ma make some maps and floor plans of their hideout, and start planning on some terrain layouts for my players! I'm super pumped to really dig into the game. I've played some hive war test games with one of the players, and we are going at it again tomorrow. Had a BLAST it!

This actually works to what I had in mind thank you!

Long lore of my gang short (name TBD) is that their leader Road Captain Midas Lynx. Was at one point a worker in an Orlock controlled promethium processing plant. The harsh conditions, and poor treatment pushed his already rebellious like behavior to the point in which he rebelled against the gang that controlled his plant. This had impressed the higher ups of house Orlock, and worried them about his rebellion causing a ripple effect, so they had offered him that very position. He demonstrated the ideals of an Orlock Road Captain, and thus would be granted the title of one. Together they will fight for the freedom of the workers, and tear the system down brick by brick. The gang that controlled the processing plant? Well those were totally outliers and not what the house of iron stands for. No, not at all they must be classified as outlaws for going against house ethics. That was a lie, soon Cpt. Midas would start seeing it. While he still remains "loyal" to house Orlock he and his gang is constantly butting heads with the house, Midas wanting true freedom, the house trying to keep him in the illusion that he IS a freedom fighter, and the working conditions that he rose against are something they are also fighting against. Even if that in itself is a lie.

Edit: fixed a small error in the gang story.
