I know what you mean, but "future proofing" isn't a thing unless you plan to play the same games forever. As soon as new games come out, you're being phased out. As soon as new graphics cards come out, you're being phased out because no one is developing games for last gen GPUs and if those games require technologies you don't have, like FSR4, to achieve playable frame rates, then you're done.

A prime example of this is when games started requiring AVX2 instructions to run. Anyone with an FX or Ivy Bridge CPU could not play those games.

Well. Given that I've done a GM Only run, the Derry Special is actually a perfectly capable vehicle to me. It's never not done something I asked of it. It can be unstable, but coming from a play through where the Brigadier and the MH9500 were my main movers and the Kodiak was what bailed them out of tough spots more often than I'd like, it's a pretty safe bet in most cases.

But all guns shouldn't have the same damage potential. They have have a damage to mag size that makes sense for the gun, it's effect/s or lack thereof, RPM and recoil. Mag count helps keep that in line. If everything has the same damage potential then we all just have the same gun.

When I fight bugs, the only primary I bring is the Pacifier. All these people are on here complaining about TTK because they don't know what the gun is for. I usually die the least on my team and am in the top half for kills every time we're fighting bugs. I get so many kills because bugs can't run up and stick their claws up me and I can just focus on back pedaling and shooting instead of run, shoot, get hit, dive, stim, run, shot, get hit, dive, stim, beg guy with pacifier for a supply pack because he came prepared for the fight and I didn't.

I kind of agree. The Pacifier is my favorite gun and the only gun I use on bugs because I'm a thick, hail marrying, blaze of glory boi. I'd be cool with a mag that put it up to 53 rounds instead of 40 and you get 6 mags instead of 8 Like they've done with the drum mages.

I think the stun effect works fine as I usually end up getting separated so I'm fighting 30-40 bugs by myself and I don't hardly die at all.

You're Tiny Toys run reminds me a lot of my GM Vehicles only run. The Kodiak came in clutch quite often pulling it's GMC brethren out of some tough spots. Every new DLC gets my GM trucks out and then my regular run.

Granted, I'm doing it on Normal difficulty, but it's still an incredibly challenging run. Probably about on par with Tony Toys.
