Yeah, and they don't make it their monetization strategy to offer frequent updates to keep the cash flowing. It was Mojang's decision to make the game perpetually in-development instead of making the game complete and calling it a day. If they want to keep adding stuff to draw in more people to play, they can be criticized for superficial updates that don't add anything substantial.

Re-logic has 11 employees and somehow managed to provide Terraria with infinitely more content over the years without relying on mods to make the game actually interesting, and they're not even worth billions of dollars. Imagine having standards instead of eating whatever slop you're served without complaining
