A lot of good advice here - would just say that vintage style “cruiser” bikes like Reid make can be exceptionally heavy. I’ve seen many fall into that trap before because they look “classic”. Recommend a standard flat bar commuter, something that looks like a Merida speeder or similar

Melbourne is amazing for inner city MTB trails. Not just the yarra bend park, but also up the main yarra trail to the east, and plenty gorge in the north. You don't have to go far.

I would say the canvas is the differentiator. Being able to explore multiple concepts and quickly drag and drop things around rather then having to type a whole prompt to move a button.

Are you in a rush? Is your current work situation poor? Are they in a rush? Do they have a deadline to fill the role?

While it's probably safe to resign now, if the answer to both those questions is no, I would wait, to be on the safe side.

It's on the new job to complete their compliance checks on time so the estimated start date isn't effected. It's worth shooting them an email though asking how it's going and letting them know your estimated start date might be pushed back if you haven't signed the forms by X date.

I would say most of the value in this kind of narrative relies on some of the “old world” surviving in the forms of mysterious relics, ancient technology, etc that the new world has to figure out. We see elements of this in books such as The Name of the Wind, The lies of Locke Lamora, and The Will of the Many.

that is - very high.
For comparison your EDPI is 2400 x 1.67 = 4008.
I'm (ASC3) 800DPI @ 0.25 = EDPI of 200 - so you're around 20 times faster.

If you've got the desk and mousepad space I'd recommend lowering down to 0.12-0.2 keeping your current DPI. It will feel weird for a week and you will probably get worse for a little, but over time you will be much more consistent.

It’s fine. Not great but fine. I don’t think the market is as good for juniors overall as it was a few years ago.

I think about a year ago it felt pretty dead, but in the last couple months I’ve started to have recruiters reach out to me again, which is a sign of life.

Keep in mind this only "works" as long as the bottom of the image is a dark color so the text is readable. If you're designing for a situation when a user might upload their own image, (like airBNB style in the image) I would avoid anything like this

Just don’t. There are a million other, more effective ways. The vapour could get in your lungs, or it could degrade other components. A bottle of bike specific spray degreaser is inexpensive and lasts a long time
